Florida Saltwater Flats Fishing Charters invites you to experience some of the best fishing Florida's Big Bend has to offer. Join Captain Bobbi and her Husband Mark and find out for yourself why fishing in Steinhatchee is simply irresistible.

Capt. Bobbi and each of her captains you may fish with pride themselves on their professional demeanor and the 100% effort they put into helping their customers catch as many fish as possible. As advocates of wildlife conservation, they practice catch and release whenever possible.

With multiple in-house captains, you can be sure to be taken care of.

A typical trip with Florida Saltwater Flats Fishing Charters will take you around the area of Steinhatchee, which is a beautiful, family-friendly spot for fishing and swimming. Among other species, you'll mainly fish for Redfish, Trout, and Flounder. The captains enjoy using artificial lures to catch Redfish, and their favorites are Gold Spoon and Target.

Capt. Bobbi also offers scalloping trips, which can be great fun for all involved. The crew will take you to abundant scallop beds where people often limit out on these delicious shellfish. Get wet and take in the beautiful nature and wildlife of the Big Bend area! As scallops are normally found in shallow water, all you need to bring with you is your mask, snorkel, and fins.

If you are part of a large group, that is not a problem, as Captain Bobbi works with a number of captains who can accommodate you. He can also provide lodging if required.

A minor hiccup at start but turned into great day
Scalloping Trip up to 6 People on June 24, 20232 adults

My wife and brought our niece and nephew scalloping for the weekend in Steinhatchee. There was a little delay in starting due to some boat issues but I think it was just our luck because there were storms for most of the early morning and I saw some family’s come back. When I met captain Clay I said it could only be up from here and we had a great trip. We got to our spot and the sun came up and started scalloping. Everyone had a great trip and I would go with him again. Once we had our fill and everyone was tired from swimming we headed back with more than enough to eat that night. A wonderful experience.

Great Day with Captain Mark
Half Day Trip – 2 People MAX on March 6, 20204 adults

Captain Mark put on fish right away. Even though the day started with heavy fog, Mark's knowledge of the water let us get going early. And his tunnel-hull boat plowed us to go virtually anywhere. He helped with techniques for fishing the lures he equipped us with. (If you really want to fish live bait, this is probably not the charter for you. I suspect, though, that he would accommodate you if you asked in advance.) In any case, we caught our limit and enjoyed Mark's friendliness and good humor. Thanks, Mark!

Half day trip with captain Larry
Half Day Trip (AM) on February 8, 20204 adults

Captain Larry made the trip so much fun. Little confusing at the beginning because I thought I was meeting with captain mike but I was with captain Larry and was never informed but that doesn’t matter because captain Larry is the reason we had so much fun on the trip. He is a really good captain and will do whatever he has to, to get you on the fish. He’s a really good guy!
