6deep Charter Fishing is USCG-licensed and is located in Gulf Shores and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters.
Capt. Bill aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what you’re after! Depending on the trip and species, you’ll be using techniques like bottom fishing, fly fishing, drift fishing, and popping. You’re looking at 2 to 4-hour trips, where you’ll usually go after the likes of Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder, Jack Crevalle, Speckled Trout, and Black Drum, depending on the weather and time of year.
Your boat for the day will be a 24’ Kenner 23V that fits up to 6 anglers at any one time. The boat comes with an ice box and a wireless trolling motor.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. The captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip.
You can keep anything you catch, as long as it’s legal to do so. This is a children-friendly charter, so you’re welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

Me, my brother, brother in-law and step dad booked a fishing trip with 6deep and they crushed it.
As soon as we booked the trip, Captain Walsh started communicating with us to make sure he could get us what we were wanting to fish for. The marina was easy to find, and Captain Walsh was waiting on us when we got there. He then briefed us on where we were going to be fishing and we took off! His daughter works with him on the boat, and she also did really really well.
Once we got to the fishing spot, we could hardly keep bait on fast enough. Pretty much as soon as bait went in the water, we were getting bites.
We probably caught 30-40 fish, saw a ton of jelly fish, and saw a FREAKING HUGE SHARK. I’ll definitely use them again, and will be bringing my whole family next time.
I highly recommend 6deep, very knowledgeable and they will do their best to give you an awesome experience.

Bill Walsh was an excellent Captain that took care of us fishing novices. He was waiting patiently for us to arrive…..we arrived on time! Gave easy to follow instructions about the fishing reels. He baited all the hooks for us four. Took all the fish (red snapper and a blue) off the hooks we caught leaving our hands clean to handle the rods.
Very polite, easy going expert.
If we come down to Gulf Shores - Mobile Bay to fish again, there’s no reason to look for another fishing charter — DEEP6 and Bill Walsh is all we need.

Great Captain - Awesome Day - Lots of Fish

Captain Bill was great! We have fished before, but having fished before does not make us fisherman. Captain Bill provided coaching and was not upset at all by the occassional missed fish that a real fisherman would have landed. Captain Bill knew where to go, kept us on the fish, and set us up to catch more fish than we ever have on a charter fishing trip. We highly recommend him and would definitely go back out with him again if we had the opportunity to do so.

3-hour inshore trip with Captain Bill was perfect for our family! Kid-friendly—he patiently taught our 4-year-old to cast with simple, fun tips. She reeled in pinfish and squealed with joy.
Easy to talk to, full of fun stories, kept snacks ready, and made sure everyone stayed safe. Clean boat, great gear.
We caught Spanish mackerel, red snapper, spadefish, and pinfish. He cleaned the keepers for dinner. Best family outing—booking again! 🎣👨👩👧

Captain Walsh did an incredible job. We got in fish quick and stayed on fish. Between the all the grunting sounds made from straining to handle to surprising strength of the fish to my son in law hooking up on a ray, created a day of smiles, laughing and memories that won't be forgotten. What a blessing it was to discover that we had found the perfect Captain to help make this happen for us. Thanks again Captain Walsh, we will be back for certain.
