Running angling trips out of Avalon, Flyin’ Hawaiian Charters invites you to check out the local fishery in style.
Come on aboard with Capt. Chuck, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, and spinning, based on the species you’re targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 to 8-hour trips, where you’ll be fishing for the likes of Flounder, Bass, Bluefish, Tautog, Seabass, and Mahi Mahi, depending on the specific season and the day’s weather.
You’ll be fishing from a 28’ Boston Whaler boat with enough room for up to 6 anglers at any single time. It also includes a toilet. The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you’ll need for a productive day on the water.

5 Hour Trip – Backwater
Tough conditions but Capt Chuck adapted.
30mph N/NE winds made the inshore waves pretty rough, but we gave it a shot at the inlet. Then we headed to the bay and hit several spots and at the end of the outgoing found a bite in a narrow channel. We were nearing the end of our trip and Capt said he was extending the trip because the bite was on, can’t go against the Capt! Also very patient with 4 teen boys, having to untangle lines several times. Highly recommend him for his patience and determination to get us on the fish.

3 Hour Backwater kids trip
July fishing trip
We had a great time with Captain Chuck. He worked really hard to get my son on fish, despite some tough conditions. Thanks to his efforts we were successful and my son got his first flounder and sea bass! We are definitely going to book with him again in the future to make more fun family memories!

5 Hour Trip – Backwater
Great trip!
Captain Chuck was fantastic! My brother, nephew (15) and I spent the day with Chuck on the back bay chasing flounder. He was a total joy to spend time with and worked hard to put us on the fish. We had a really nice catch, but more importantly, lots of smiles and laughs to go around. Highly recommend Chuck and I will definitely be looking him up next year when we are back again for our annual family reunion. Thanks, Chuck!

8 Hour Trip – Inshore Trolling
8hr trip with kids!
This was a great trip! We took our kids out ages 13,10,9. Captain Chuck and first mate Mark are incredible. They are great with kids which was a huge relief to us.The knowledge that they shared with us as first time sea fishing was more than I could have imagined. We caught our limit of sea bass plus some. I lost a big bonito at the boat. But that’s fishing. Caught some blues and ling. I highly recommend this team. These two do everything they can to get you on fish. We will definitely be back. 6 Hour Trip–Inshore Bottom Fishing
A fantastic experience!
I took my daughter and her friend (13) and we had the greatest time! Captain and the first mate were really engaging and friendly. The boat was in great shape. We stopped in several spots to get on the fish. We all had an amazing time and I would recommend The Flyin Hawaiian to anyone looking for a great time on the water!
