Running angling trips out of Avalon, Flyin' Hawaiian Charters invites you to check out the local fishery in style. ( trips will run out of Minmar Marina , Sea Isle City during our fall season starting October 15th)
Come on aboard with Capt. Chuck, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, and spinning, based on the species you're targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 to 8-hour trips, where you'll be fishing for the likes of Flounder, Bass, Bluefish, Tautog, Seabass, and Mahi Mahi, depending on the specific season and the day's weather.
You'll be fishing from a 28' Boston Whaler boat with enough room for up to 6 anglers at any single time. It also includes a toilet. The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you'll need for a productive day on the water.
The captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip. Up for a family trip? This is a children-friendly business, so bring your loved ones to share these memories with.

Fantastic Day on the Water!

We had an incredible day on the water with Captain Chuck! You can tell he’s spent his whole life fishing these waters — his knowledge and instincts are excellent. He’s soft-spoken, patient, and genuinely wants everyone on board to have a great experience. He worked hard to put us on the fish, adjusting spots and sharing tips until we were reeling them in. It’s clear he loves what he does and takes pride in helping others enjoy it too. We couldn’t have asked for a better captain — highly recommend booking with him!

5 Hour Trip – Backwater on August 6, 2025 • 5 adults • 1 child
30mph N/NE winds made the inshore waves pretty rough, but we gave it a shot at the inlet. Then we headed to the bay and hit several spots and at the end of the outgoing found a bite in a narrow channel. We were nearing the end of our trip and Capt said he was extending the trip because the bite was on, can’t go against the Capt! Also very patient with 4 teen boys, having to untangle lines several times. Highly recommend him for his patience and determination to get us on the fish.

Captain Chuck is very personable and Experienced captain with years on the Water I highly recommend booking with Flying Hawaian charters. Started out with rough seas trolling and catching False Albacore lots of fun. Captain worked hard putting us on the fish we drifted the rest of day and caught many flounder, Sea Bass and trigger fish Great day on the water with a great Captain Thanks again me and my boys and crew had a great time

We had a great time with Captain Chuck. He worked really hard to get my son on fish, despite some tough conditions. Thanks to his efforts we were successful and my son got his first flounder and sea bass! We are definitely going to book with him again in the future to make more fun family memories!

We had a great time, sea was a little angry and Captain Chuck did an awesome job with getting us on fish so our 2 kids on board could experience their first catches. We all had a blast. Definitely would recommend Captain Chuck and looking forward to doing it again.
