2 Capt. Larry's Charters 2 

We had a perfect fishing trip with Captain Nick! We caught our limit of walleye, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Captain Larry's Charters is an exceptionally well-organized operation, with every detail carefully thought out. The boat and equipment were spotless, well-maintained, and top-notch. Captain Nick was knowledgeable, professional, and personable, making the trip both productive and enjoyable. I usually like to offer suggestions for improvement when I write reviews, but honestly, I couldn't think of a single thing. The level of attention to detail and commitment to providing a first-class experience was impressive from start to finish. If you're looking for a professional charter with excellent service and a great chance of catching fish, I highly recommend Captain Larry's Charters. We'll definitely be back!

we had an amazing charter with captain mike. Not only did we catch fish but we gained a new friend. Captain mike took us out and was very informative the entire time and put us on fish as soon as the first pole hit the water. we limited out within 1.5-2 hrs but with the environment the captian created we could have stayed on the water all day. I would reccomend this charter to anyone interested in having a good time. Thetr is no guarantee in fishing but with this charter i believe youd have the best chance. We did. thanks agian and we will 100% be back and it is unlikely i will choose any other charters.

Visiting from NJ and booked with Captain Larry. He was great showing my family who don’t fish much everything that they needed to know and do for Lake Erie Walleye fishing. He engaged my 11yo daughter and made it exciting for her. It was even fun to reel in the white perch and sheepshead and toss them back. We limited out on walleye. I would definitely recommend and will be booking again when I am back in the area. A+

Captain Nick was highly skilled, taught the boys how to setup, patient, clear, and very accomodating. Made our Fathers Day memorable with 31 fish in 2 hours. Yes im including the 4 that got away, and 5 under regulation and 2 sheephead. Overall we smashed our limits and it was an absokute frenzy from the time the first line was set until we mwt our limit 2 hrs later. he cleaned, left a QR code for the zipper methid tobremove the spine which was a simple you tube video. Came home to a nice dinner to cap off the day with my sons - highly recommend and will be back

We went out on August 10, 2025, with Capt. Larry’s Charters 2 out of Lorain — just me, my brother, and our kids (ages 6 and 7). We had such a great time that I had to write this review right away. We caught close to 30 walleye, including some small ones that we released. The kids did all the reeling — every fish that came on board was because of them! Of course, my brother and I helped hold the rods and guide them, but it was really a hands-on experience for the little ones. Capt. Mike was absolutely amazing. Super friendly, patient, and funny — he joked around with the kids, answered every question (and trust me, my 6-year-old had a lot), and made sure they felt involved the whole time. My older son kept asking to measure every fish we caught, and Mike happily obliged. He even offered to clean the fish afterward, but since we live 2.5 hours away and we wrapped up around 7 PM, we had to pack up and go. That said, he helped us pack the fish on ice in our cooler so they stayed fresh all the way home. Now my kids are already begging to go back — this time for the 7-hour morning trip! Looks like we’ll be booking again soon. Thanks, Capt. Mike, for an unforgettable memory with our boys. Highly recommend this trip for families with young kids who want a safe, fun, and truly engaging fishing experience.
