Tate's Fishing runs trips out of Gainesville. This listing takes you on a Gainesville angling journey. Captain Tate himself will make sure you experience the local fishery in style. Plus he is great with kids, so bring the little ones to fish, too!
He specializes in light tackle and trolling while focusing on Bass. Spotted and Striped Bass will be your main rivals while fishing from a 24' Sea pro boat. Luckily, the boat has wireless trolling motor so you'll approach your trophy catch without spooking it.
The boat can accommodate up to 5 anglers and it's equipped with an ice box to keep your catch cool. All rods, reels and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters – fishing. You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.
Fishing licenses aren't included, so make sure to get them prior to the trip.

Tate was a phenomenal guide. We had a blast, we brought our two little girls and he was so patient. Caught 8-10 nice sized bass and a catfish. Thanks so much, definitely recommended.
We had a full day with these guys, what an absolutely great day we had. These guys were great fishermen and awesome to hangout with. I would recommend these guys to anyone wanting to catch some big fish and have a laid back environment to do it in. I will be going back
Gave this trip as a gift to my husband and his kids for Father’s Day. They had the best time. Tate was a wonderful guide and made sure they caught some fish. He’s knowledgeable and a great communicator. Can’t recommend him enough!
