Grant is the BEST!
Half Day Trip – River Bank - 2:00 PM on August 8, 20252 adults
We had such a terrific first experience fly fishing with Grant! He is the real deal in teaching and coaching!! We both caught fish within the first 30 minutes and continued until we maxed! He had incredible integrity - taught us etiquette with others who were fishing, fishing laws, education about types of fish we caught, how to fillet and added a few recipes as well. He is top notch!!! Best experience ever!

Captain Ron is the best on the Kenai!
Full Day Trip – Drift Boat on August 5, 20252 adults
This was a trip with my son, we are both intermediate fly fishermen. Captain Ron was the best guide we’ve ever had. He was fun to talk to, he’s a teacher, he knows his stuff and is willing to share it. We caught small fish, medium fish and big fish. Best oart was we did it at our pace, in the boat, out of the boat, captain Ron was in no hurry, he guided the best day with me and my son. Thanks again, Ron!

Catch your limit of sockeye salmon
Half Day Trip – River Bank on August 4, 20251 adult
The captain, Grant Anderson, was a knowledgeable and thoughtful guide. He took us to a place where we caught lots of fish. I enjoyed that and was grateful to him. Two things I didn’t expect or care for, which lowered my score by one star, are that we were lined up along the bank with other fishermen about 10 feet apart and this was not true fly fishing. By that I mean that the fish were not actually taking a fly in their mouth. We snagged them.

Interesting Crew
Full Day Trip – River Bank (Guided) on July 27, 20252 adults
Trip was ok. Directions take you to the wrong place. Not a very organized trip. Needed to wait so Crew could get coffee. Had to stop and get gas along the way. Paid for a guided tour and then had to drive 2 hours on our own to a public landing. We did limit out so that was cool. They cleaned the fish so thst was a bonus. With the price I probably would have bought fishing gear and drove myself to a public landing.
