Captain Mark has a lifetime of fishing, with 30 years of experience on Lake Erie. Three wins and several top 10 finishes in 15 years of tournament fishing the LEWT and WMT series. Walleye Madness Team of the Year in 2019 and winner of the Spring FishCrazy Derby in 2018. Join him, and he'll be happy to share his knowledge and create memories together!

On your trip, you will be targeting Walleye with the occasional surprise of Yellow Perch or Steelhead. On these trips, you can expect to troll. If you would prefer to cast and drift, please discuss this option with Captain Mark. You're free to keep fish you catch within size and bag limits. You can also have your catch cleaned for an additional charge so you can enjoy it later that day or pack it away for months later.

Captain Mark welcomes you aboard a 21' Starcraft Fishmaster 210, which holds up to 3 additional passengers. It has all the essentials aboard that no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. If needed, live bait will be provided.

To make your trip more enjoyable, take seasickness supplements prior to launching, and bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, snacks, drinks, and a cooler to take home your fish. You'll need to buy an Ohio fishing license before the trip. This information is available online.

Great Fishing Trip on Lake Erie

Full Day Trip – Walleye on May 8, 2026 • 2 adults

Captain Mark of Rednek Outfitters knows how to catch fish. We caught our limit of walleye. The biggest one was 27 1/2 inches. We released several legal walleye and only kept bigger fish. Captain Mark shared several insights on lures and the fishing methods we were using. My dad and I had a great day on the water with Captain Mark.

Great Trip

The weather was harsh but the boat was very comfortable. Captain Mark knew exactly where and how to catch the fish. Could not have had a better time. We will be going out again for sure. I highly recommend this trip.

DONT LET THIS ONE GET AWAY!

Full Day Trip – Walleye on May 18, 2024 • 2 adults

I have done several charters but this was the best two days of my life. It was myself and my son with Captain Mark.  Captain Mark made it very clear right up front that he wanted to customize the trip to meet our needs. He was the first Captain that allowed us the choice of sitting back and having him hand a rod with a fish on it or did we want to be more involved and learn how to fish and set our owe lines. We chose to be part of the whole experience and did it pay off! We learned so much (even though my son and I both have fished for many years). We were lucky to have scheduled two days with Captain Mark, and BOTH days were absolutely amazing! Thank you so much Captain Mark for sharing all your knowledge and giving my son and I one of our greatest memories together ever, no words can explain (not to mention a boat load of fish 😀)
To anyone reading this, do yourself a favor and book a trip with Captain Mark,  YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

Full Day Trip – Walleye on May 25, 2024 • 2 adults

My husband and I had such a great time! Captain Mark was determined to make sure that not only we enjoyed ourselves but that we caught the amount of fish that we were legally allowed to catch. He also cleaned and filleted our fish fabulously. His 1st Mate Maci, LOVE HER!! Briefly met his misses, Mrs. Mimi....such a kind, warm lady. We enjoyed ourselves so much, that we rebooked with him so that our adult sons can have the fantastic experience as well. THANK YOU CAPTAIN MARK.... WE'LL SEE YOU AGAIN IN JULY :-)
