Spend the day with CJB Outfitters and find out what the fishing in Lorain is all about! With Captain Chip at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
These waters are home to Walleye, and more if you come at the right time of year. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your adventure begins aboard a 22' Mako walkaround with capacity for 3 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now, time to hit the water with CJB Outfitters!
