Grateful Adventures - Salmon Fishing
Grateful Adventures wishes you a warm welcome to Altmar, New York. Spend a day on a river or lake and make beautiful memories with your dear ones. Your guide is a retired veteran with 7 years of guiding experience. He’s an AS in Wilderness Leadership Recreation and BS in Ecological Restoration. Your captain has been fishing the lake Ontario tributaries and Adirondack park for over 20 years and knows how to provide a productive trip full of fun. He also offers discounts for wounded veterans.
The boat you’ll fish from is a 17’ Starweld aluminum fishing boat that can take up to 4 guests. It runs on a 90 HP Yamaha engine and uses GPS and fishfinder technology for efficient navigation.
On your trip, your group and the captain will have the opportunity to catch Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Lake Trout, and Atlantic Salmon. To attract your prey, you can use light tackle, trolling, jigging, and fly fishing. If you want, you can keep the fish you catch and enjoy some lovely meals when back home.
The captain will take care of all the fishing rods, reels, and tackle as well as fly fishing gear. Lures are also included in the price. What you should bring are your fishing licenses and any snacks or drinks you want.
Grateful Adventures is waiting for you, hop aboard and have a memorable time fishing in New York!
