Black Wolf Outfitters is here to give you a personal experience on the wild waters of Pulaski.
You won't have to travel far to fish these local waters, including some spots that only the locals know about.
Around here it's common to use many different styles to catch fish and that's what you can expect on the day of your trip. You may also for your catch. John will provide rods and reels, as well as lures and bait .
Top targets include Salmon, Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), and more, depending on when you go.
You'll navigate the local waters on a 17' Fish Rite drift boat that can carry up to 2 passengers.
Your fishing license for the day is not included, so members of your group will need to buy one. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. You're encouraged to dress in layers and the proper footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunblock, sunglasses, and bottled water, rain or shine.
Children are welcome to come along. They should always wear life vests, so find out if John has the right size available or bring your own.

there was not enough water flowing in the river to drift fish during the day so John suggested we fish the lake at night. we caught 4 nice kings. John worked hard rowing us around and finding some nice fish.
I never caught this much fish so quickly before and my son pulled a 30lb monster king salmon! Cap. John is a second gen guide and it shows.
captain John was amazing. He was very knowledgable and competative. You could tell he knows the waters well. Unfortunately, the bite was not on and we only got one fish.

Using fly fishing, and other techniques, you'll have a chance to catch Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead) and Brown Trout. The only way to learn is to join them on the water. Your not going to be fishing with some gentleman that has a couple years of experience I grew up in this amazing fishery with having my father as a guide and captain across all of the US and parts of Canada for the past 38 years of his career I have followed his footsteps since the age of 6 years old
