This was roughly my tenth charter experience, and was one of the best. They provided good directions for the taxi dropoff and had someone meet us there and took us to the boat, and also arranged the return taxi. The boat and equipment were really solid, especially for the reasonable price. We were out on a windy day with large swells but the boat and captain handled it well. Edwin, the mate, worked like crazy keeping the bait and gear in top shape. The captain and mate were both friendly, enthusiastic, and instructive, and both spoke decent english. We caught spanish mackeral, trigger fish, barracuda, and bonito. We mostly trolled due to the swells, but did some bottom fishing. My only complaint is it took several hours for the charter to get confirmed…maybe they were waiting for weather forecast? Overall, I would definitely book them again.
We had a wonderful trip on the Real Catcher. Rafael worked tirelessly throughout the trip to make sure we had a successful catch. He clearly knows his stuff! We were a group of 7 (ages 9 to 68), and everyone who wanted to had a chance to reel one in. Despite it seeming relatively calm on land, the boat did rock quite a bit once we got out in deeper waters. Definitely come prepared with something for seasickness, even if you've been fine on boats before. Rafael was very gracious about the one member of our group heaving over the side lol. The boat itself is nothing glamourous, but one of the nicer ones at the dock. There's a restroom, a semi-shaded seating area, a fighting chair, and drinks provided. What else could you need? In the 4 hours, we caught some smaller bait fish and 4 large fish. After the trip, a staff member walked us over to a restaurant where they grilled the mackeral we caught. I would definitley recommend this charter others looking for a deep sea fishing experience.

7th time fishing in Puerto Morelos and this boat, crew, and equipment finally met some expectations. Open cabin for seating, hard working crew, bait on hand before departure and as a bonus we caught some fish! May is Mahi Mahi ( Dorado) season. Yeah buddy!

Our family of 4 adults, 4 kids had an excellent experience. From the Captain to the two deck hands working tirelessly to ensure we got a catch. Very friendly and accommodating even when all the kids got sick. We did well and they hooked us up with a local restaurant "Crazy Fish Tacos" that cooked our catch for the most delicious meal we had. we would definitely do this again!

Thank you for choosing us, see you next vacations 🎣🎣
we've fished Cabo, Atlantic (FL), Cancun, Maui, Dominican Republic, and now Puerto Morales. Roberto and Victor had us busy with lots of variety. Amberjack, 2 different snapper species, king mackerel, Jack, and barracuda. easy to meet and get on the boat, then they cleaned the fish we wanted and we had it prepared in town nearby. 3 teens and adult all had a blast.

Thanks so much for choosing us! Was a pleasure to had you on board! Hope to see you next time 🐟🐠🐟🐠

A native of nearby Cancun, Captain Roberto has been fishing Mexico's Caribbean waters since he was 16. He's been running charters all his professional life, following his sport fishing passion. In 2010, he moved to Puerto Morelos and not a single day since then has he not loved what he does for a living. He can't get enough of the water and hopes to pass on his passion and expertise to others. In September 2018, he caught 111' Marlin and he hopes to replicate that with you.
