My 13 year old son and I went on a fishing trip. Francisco and Nacho were the two crewmates taking care of us this trip. My son is insanely into fishing and this was a trip for him. It was his first time on the ocean and unfortunately after an hour and a half he started to get a il seasick. Francisco and Nacho were amazing about trying to get him to feel comfortable. They had him lay down as we headed into shallower waters. He was still feeling sick so i said we might have to call it a day early. They said ok and recommended as we headed back to throw some lines in the water to troll on our way in and maybe catching something would work my son up. Sure enough we caught 2 or 3 fish as we did that ad he worked right up. He still felt sick but reeling those fish in he said was worth it. I would not hesitate to go again with these guys and on this boat. Thank you so much guys for making it agreat trip and creating memories my son and I will never forget. - Ryan and Henrik

Thank you for the comments; it was a pleasure serving you. I'm glad you had fun—that’s what it’s all about. Greetings from our office by the Caribbean Sea.see you next time ,enjoy video
Alfredo and Nacho kept us laughing all day long…. The troll action was a bit slow, got one small barracuda. We switched to bottom fishing and the action was fast and furious. We used sardines for bait and the fish loved them. My 12 yr old son was having issues setting the hook- so Nacho would help him by setting the hook and let my son reel it in. I really appreciated that the Captains asked us what we wanted to do throughout the day (troll vs bottom fishing). At the end of the day, my son elected to troll for the remainder because his arms/wrists were tired from reeling up so many bottom fish. Did we catch our trophy fish: No. But from we saw, none of the other boats out there were getting anything on the troll either. Did we have a great time: Yes!! it was my sons first time offshore fishing and he had a blast. He said he had fun and would certainly do it again. If I had to find a negative: The boat-It isn't exacrly built for comfort. Benches are hard, need to sit on a life vest for a cushion. it didn't bother us and might be miserable in rougher seas. I can see how that might be a deal breaker for some. Recommendation: Bring your catch to CrazyFish in Puerto Morelos just steps away from the pier for them to prepare your dinner.

This time we caught some Triggerfish, Porgy, Yellowtail Snapper, and a few other species from the Caribbean Sea. We weren't very lucky trolling; we only got one bite from a small Cuda. The sea was really calm, with some clouds threatening rain, but it held off. It was a fantastic day; we spent eight hours together. We really appreciate you sharing this fishing trip with us; it's what we enjoy most. We hope to see you again at our office in the Caribbean Sea. Greetings wherever you are.
I caught a nice size barracuda, within six minutes after we left the pier. This trip was filled with ups and downs as fishing should be! We had our hits and missed bites as every fishing trip I’ve been on! However I finished up with. Big barracuda, and 15 teen nice pan fryers!! Would do it again tomorrow !!!

thanks Joseph for the comments and support sport fishing ,it was a pleasure serving you, see you next time
I can't say enough about our experience on the Ciprea I. The boat is spacious and safe, with sunshade and a cooler full of drinks. Alberto and Nacho were both excellent, and made sure that my son's hooks were constantly baited (he's 12). When they had something on their lines, they let him also reel it up for added excitement. We moved around a number of times to catch a great variety of fish including yellow and red snapper, grunts, Dory, 2 larger Spanish mackerel and 2 nurse sharks! We will 100% be back next year, hopefully during the season when we can catch the bigger fish trolling. thanks again for such a memorable experience!

hola Jeannette,Here's the video. It was a spectacular day! We're happy you enjoyed your fishing trip. See you next time! Thank you for supporting sport fishing and the local economy.

The Ciprea crew was on point. Both crew members, Nacho and I forgot the other guys name, did everything to get us on fish. They are super cool guys with fishing experience. The only thing that I dislike about these trips is that they use your fishing time to find bait. I took an hour of driving around before we rn into a school of small sardines. We start ed in deep water and hookup 2 Mahis, unfortunately wasn't able to get them in the boat. After trying again for Mahi, we decided to head to a reel and bottom fish. Lots of action with a variety of snappers, triggers, porgie, yellow tails. After that we headed into the shallows a trolled fr Cuda. Hooked up right away. I've been fishing for 45 years and wasn't disappointed with how the crew handled everything. Now, here's my small gripes. There was no electronics on the boat, no radio, no fares that I can see. The only safety equipment I noticed as life jackets Overall it was a fun experience. I would recommend Ciprea. The gripes are my own based on 45 years of fishing experience.

Today you get to learn something new after your 45 years of fishing: the VHF radio is located in the small compartment attached to the fiberglass canopy; it’s a Uniden base unit that works perfectly—had you asked about the radio, we would have shown it to you,I am attaching photos of the VHF radio. as it is an essential piece of equipment for heading out to sea. Also, inside the console, we keep the fire extinguisher, the life jackets you mentioned, and a first-aid kit. We always carry two handheld GPS units—clients often don't notice them, but they are always on board. As for the fishing, we had a good day: we had two Mahi-Mahi strikes that didn't result in a catch and landed two small barracudas, plus some bottom fish like snapper, triggerfish, and others. Thanks for supporting sport fishing; cheers, and see you next time.
