I asked Captain Daniel and his first mate, Francisco to get my son on a BIG fish and they were great. The took us to deep water and worked hard to get us on a sailfish, marlin or Mahi. After a couple of hours with no luck, it was pretty rough out there, we headed in to shallower waters and pretty quickly hooked into a 4.5’ to 5’ Barracuda. My son was pumped. Daniel and Fransisco were great. They even dropped us at a Marina a few miles North so we could meet our friends for an afternoon catamaran trip. When you go fishing for big game fish, you often don’t get what you’re after.  I can say Daniel and Francisco worked hard to get us on a big one. Ultimately we hooked into one. Mission Accomplished. And something my son will never forget. Gracias Amigos.

We booked a trip on Ciprea over the Easter weekend in order to get some father/daughter time in our vacation in Mexico. We had a wonderful time on the boat beginning with catching some bait fish and then moving onto trolling. Although we didn’t catch anything while trolling we were successful in finding some good spots to bottom fish. Pulled up a good number of snapper and a couple of grouper. Daughter was able to participate and had a good time reeling in the fish. We were staying at an AirB&B and did most of our cooking, so the captain filleted a number of the fish for us and we were able to bring back with us to throw on the grill!

After a bit of a slow start we had a A most excellent day. The captain (Julio) and crew (Edwin) went over and above to ensure we got the most from the day.

After trawling for a few hours catching a few including my Barracuda we went after Red snapper and boy did we catch.

Two great sized Red Snapper, 10 yellow tailed snapper, a number of Queen trigger fish and a number of other species.

The captain and crew had rods in the water which they handed to me whenever I Was free and laughed with me for the duration of the trip. It was obvious that they were enjoying the day as much as I was which made it even better for me.

A prolific 6 hours of fishing.
Edwin showed us a local restaurant who will cook your catch for lunch. What a way to end the day.

A must do and you’ll be lucky if you get these guys together.

My wife and I had a memorable trip with Black Moon. We initally booked a half day, afternoon trip, but we’re contacted by Luis that the forecast for the afternoon was going to be windy.  He suggested a morning trip, and we are thankful for that advice.  The ocean was choppy and trolling was difficult, so we decided to bottom fish and caught a couple of Snapper and a Grouper, as well as some smaller jack fish etc. After bottom fishing and catching some larger bait we hooked into a GIANT Barracuda!!  Definitely a fish that I will remember forever.  I can’t say enough about Captain Julio and Edwin.  They were top notch, and worked like crazy to put fish in the boat and make our trip so memorable!!  Muchos Gracias!!!  If you are looking for a great trip with wonderful guides, I would choose them every time!!!

I booked a quick half-day trip just to give my girlfriend a shot at chance at her her first saltwater catch. Nacho threw one net cast and bagged all our live bait in that one throw. They had a solid plan for variety, we trolled for an hour and a half while slowly making our way to the reef bottom fishing spot. We caught a bonito in a trolling line and promptly baited it. 10 minutes later it got bit by what was probably a good Kingfish but my girl let it off the hook. When we got to the bottom fishing spot we caught a variety of fun species and they were very patient and attentive to my lady who had no experience. Their English was plenty good enough to carry on a pleasant conversation. Highly recommend a trip with Nacho and Alex.
