I can’t say enough about our experience on the Ciprea I. The boat is spacious and safe, with sunshade and a cooler full of drinks. Alberto and Nacho were both excellent, and made sure that my son’s hooks were constantly baited (he’s 12). When they had something on their lines, they let him also reel it up for added excitement. We moved around a number of times to catch a great variety of fish including yellow and red snapper, grunts, Dory, 2 larger Spanish mackerel and 2 nurse sharks!  We will 100% be back next year, hopefully during the season when we can catch the bigger fish trolling.  thanks again for such a memorable experience!

They worked hard to make sure all our equipment was ready and set to create maximum fishing time. They took us to their best spots and we caught lots of fish.

When we caught a Wahoo. They gave lots of instruction so as to make sure we landed the fish.

Then when we got to the dock they cleaned the fish and sent us home with all the fish on ice.

We caught a ton of fish. You’d have a hit within seconds of each cast. We caught everything from small fish (sometimes two on a line at a time) and giant nurse shark.

The first half hour was spent with the crew catching bait with a net. As I’ve never seen this before, I didn’t mind the wait. If you’ve seen it before I’d recommend asking to have them catch bait ahead of time.

I’d highly recommend Roberto and Nacho. They were kind, easy to communicate with, put me on a million fish, and cleaned them all up for me after.

By far one of the cheaper options and I don’t know why. They provided a first class experience for the price with snacks and cold sodas, plenty of ice cold water, and beers. We didn’t catch fish, reason being, my wife was suffering from a heat exhaustion, borderline heat stroke. I told the captains that we had to go back immediately to cool her down and they pulled the lines up and beelined back to port. I could not ask for a better experience. They gave it the best effort before that happened to catch fish. We had one on but I lost it due to my lack of experience as well as seaweed snagging the line as I was pulling it in. The conditions were not ideal the day we went but that morning, they did catch 5 large dorado which they showed me as they were unloading from the morning trip so yes, they definitely catch fish. The captain is from Puerto Morelos itself so he was raised in these waters. Absolutely book these guys. FULL SHADE on deck. For $200 for four hours, it’s a no brainer. When we come back to PM, we will be booking with them again. Go Ciprea!
