Captain Julio and mate Nacho.  met us at the docks and were ready to give us the best experience.  We went out deep sea fishing on rough seas.  The captain made the trip as smooth as possible and had us on fish first thing.  Communication between ourselves and the crew was excellent.  The captain is fluent in english. First time to Mexico and fishing was top of my list. booked a trip on the Black Moon. Captain Julio and Nacho were awesome. We tried trolling but the seagrass was making it challenging. We switched to bottom fishing and had immediate success. These fellas know their stuff. We caught a pile of fish. Had a lot of laughs and a great time. They are pretty good singer too. I can’t say enough about our experience on the Ciprea I. The boat is spacious and safe, with sunshade and a cooler full of drinks. Alberto and Nacho were both excellent, and made sure that my son’s hooks were constantly baited (he’s 12). When they had something on their lines, they let him also reel it up for added excitement. We caught a ton of fish. You’d have a hit within seconds of each cast. We caught everything from small fish (sometimes two on a line at a time) and giant nurse shark. The first half hour was spent with the crew catching bait with a net. As I’ve never seen this before, I didn’t mind the wait.
