Little Catcher
Booked with us before? You may qualify for a Loyalty Discount. Sign in to check.
Little Catcher is your ticket to the stunning waters of Puerto Morelos.
Around here the fishing is popular for Great Barracuda, Sailfish, Red Grouper, Jack Crevalle, Amberjack, and more if you come at the right time of year. During the trip you might be trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. You're welcome to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your boat for the day is a 25' panga with capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray) and a hat. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that day dream into a reality, with Little Catcher.

The Angler's Choice Award is given to listings that consistently deliver a high-quality service and earn great reviews from customers.
A native of nearby Cancun, Captain Roberto has been fishing Mexico's Caribbean waters since he was 16. He's been running charters all his professional life, following his sport fishing passion. In 2010, he moved to Puerto Morelos and not a single day since then has he not loved what he does for a living. He can't get enough of the water and hopes to pass on his passion and expertise to others. In September 2018, he caught 111' Marlin and he hopes to replicate that with you.
