Capt. Nino will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in trolling or spinning fishing trips, along the splendid Tahitian landscape. This involves 3-hour trips, mainly fishing for Wahoo, Bonito, Barracuda, Trevally, and Tuna, depending on the season and conditions on the day.
You'll be fishing from a 20' Marinalu boat with enough room for up to 5 anglers and an ice box. The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you'll need for a productive day on the water. You can keep anything you catch as long as it's legal to do so.
You'll find free snacks, and drinks on the boat for your convenience, but you're always welcome to pack your own drinks and snacks should you want to.

Like most tourists, we were worried we wouldnt catch anything, but he's an excellent (bilingual) Captain and put us on several large Tuna right from the start. If you're looking for a private charter in a small group setting without spending crazy money or hours researching look no further! Boats around us werent catching fish and we were! If you're looking for more than just catching fish he went above and beyond in explaining the local fishery, made sure everyone stayed dry in windy weather, gave us a little extra time on the boat, cleaned our fish, and dropped us off closer to our AirBNB than we originally were supposed to after finding out we walked. Good human putting you on good fish…what more can you ask for?!

c’était une excellente pêche avec le capitaine Nico. Merci à lui grâce à lui moi et ma copine on a pu pêcher des poissons vraiment super beau au total sorties cinq poissons  deux petites bonite, deux un peu plus grosse et une carangue arc-en-ciel  on a pu aussi voir tortue raie poissons volant poissons aiguilles baleine c’est vraiment incroyable merci nico et a la prochaine j’espère 🤩❤️🎣👌🤙
He gave us a call to go earlier than the scheduled 0830 start. We agreed and were very glad for it. We looked out for the birds diving and sure enough got hooked up as soon as we got out there. There were no other boats around! We caught another one when another boat showed up. Immediately thereafter we caught the third fish. He asked if we wanted to fish more even though we had come to our allotted time. What a Captain! We ended up giving him one of our 3 fish. Would recommend CPT Joan any time!
