Captain Brett and Captain Brian aim to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let them know what you're after! You're looking at 4 hour trips, where you'll go after different species of salmon, trout, and other species depending on the weather and time of year. Feel free to bring your kids, highly encouraged! The crew has experience in guiding children as young as 2 years old and even having newborns on board!! In early August the main target will be coho salmon although pink and chum salmon in addition to rainbow trout are caught as well! In late August you'll have the opportunity to catch up to 8 species including all 5 pacific salmon, grayling, rainbow trout and dolly varden! Depending on the trip, CURRENT REGULATIONS and species, you'll be using techniques like trolling, fly fishing, drift fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning.
Your adventure begins on board a 21' Wooldridge boat that can fit a maximum of 5 anglers. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that's up to you is to use it as best you can. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. You can keep anything you catch, as long as it's legal to do so.

Took another senior couple with us that had never been to Alaska. They were reluctant about going fishing but all that changed after going. Throughout the time leading up to the trip Brian was very prompt with replies, very thorough with details, and always pleasant and upbeat. Alaska Fish & Wildlife closed the season just before we went and Brian was quick to be in contact with us and willing to do whatever to accommodate our wishes. We went ahead with the trip on a strictly catch and release bases and he threw in a shore lunch that was outstanding. One of our party got a little chilled and he was attentive and drug out additional gear that resolved the temporary issues. It was a typical we soggy Alaska day but the fall colors, catching some fish, a great lunch and the positive attitude made it a wonderful memory.
Thanks so much Charles! It was an absolute pleasuring hosting such a wonderful group on the water in what was a wet Alaskan September day! Can't wait for any future adventures and hope the last part of your trip was as wonderful as the first!!
