Background: Born, raised, and year-round residents of Anchorage, Alaska, we grew up on the water fishing with our dad. As soon as I started running the boat at age 4, I knew I wanted to share the beauty of the Alaskan wilderness with folks from around the world.
Techniques: My favorite trip is hands down casting and retrieving plugs and other lures for king salmon. The hit of a king salmon is like nothing else. From huge head shakes to 100 yard runs, battling wild Alaskan king salmon is an experience like nothing else. We also float bobbers and eggs, power troll, back bounce, drift, whatever catches fish!

Guide was great and definitely knew the water. Didn’t end up catching any kings, but the experience was well worth it. would recommend and will definitely be making another trip back. I would recommend to any and all singles or families. Very easy booking process and a wonderful overall experience.

There was an issue with Fishing Booker not putting the trip on the captains calendar but I messaged them and they made sure to make it right and took my dad out on the trip the following day. It was awesome and he absolutely loved seeing the views and getting to talk with them.

Weather was very cold and although we caught nothing but a missed bite, it was a fun little session. The boat captain was respectful and fun to talk with during our little trip. Definetly will book again if I visit Alaska again. Do make do to wear warm clothes and jacket if going the early morning!
