Voted in 'Best of Alaska's' best Fishing Charter 9 years in a row, we know how to show guests an awesome time! From 4 hour trips to week long vacations, Alaska Outdoors Addiction specializes in catering to each and every guest! Whether local or the other side of the globe, our lifetime of experience being born, raised, and year round residents of Alaska give us an edge no one else has!
Bring the whole family for a half day adventure on the Knik River. Here you will travel a short distance via jet boat to the base of Pioneer and Twin Peaks before setting up and trying for that elusive king salmon. From newborns to great grandparents, everyone is welcome to enjoy a peaceful time on the water!
Being one of the last places along the road system to catch and and keep an Alaska king salmon, the Knik River offers a great opportunity for guests to target kings only 30 minutes from Alaska's largest city! Using cured salmon eggs, herring, or lures coated in secret gel, we will do whatever it takes to entice a king salmon to bite your line! Our main technique is trolling while on anchor. Your expert guide will position the boat above a fish holding spot and drop the anchor. From there you will let out your line to the perfect distance and place your rod in the rod holder waiting for the tell tale takedown of a fresh from the ocean king salmon! If that doesn't work, we will float salmon eggs under a bobber, back bounce, or any number of secret methods to try and get you hooked up!

We love to fish and never get the time BUT on vacation in Alaska, we made the time (unfortunately my grandson didn't-too early for a 6 year old). We are glad the caption recommended the 4am start as we caught the max allowed by our license and it was COLD out. We could never get this size of fish where we live and Captain Brian was helpful and did a fantastic job including cleaning the fish. Could not ask for a better adventure.

Thanks so much for the kind words John! It was an absolute pleasure having yall on board and getting on those fresh kings was awesome!! Glad you all had fun even on that cold morning LOL. Hope the rest of your trip was equally as excellent!
Born, raised, and year-round residents of Anchorage, Alaska, we grew up on the water fishing with our dad. As soon as I started running the boat at age 4, I knew I wanted to share the beauty of the Alaskan wilderness with folks from around the world.
