Well, last week it blew 20 miles an hour plus pretty much all week except Monday Monday morning when we had our trip booked. It was actually pretty calm and we got out early in the thick of several schools of bluefish. Caught a bunch of bluefish and had fun later, trying for some trout and then Drum, but no luck, but that’s fishing. This was our second trip with Captain Mike and he is great, very personable, and knows his stuff and where to go. ..and by now he is a grandfather! We’ll definitely be calling on him again next Summer!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolute blast! The trip started hot with six bluefish in the first 30 minutes, and we thought it couldn't get any better. Then Captain Mike got a call, and it was game on. We raced over to a massive school of red drum, and what happened next was something straight out of a fishing show. Huge reds were rolling on the surface, crashing bait, and chasing fish in every direction. The water was alive. As soon as we pulled up, all four lines went out from the bow. Within seconds, we were hooked up and brought in a beautiful 43-inch red. After a quick release, we got right back into the action. The frenzy was unbelievable. Again, all four lines launched, and one after another we were hooked up. At that point everyone was yelling, rods were bent, drags were screaming, and Captain Mike was expertly directing traffic while we battled fish all around the boat. For the next 35 minutes it was nonstop action. One giant after another came over the rail: 44 inches, 43 inches, 44 inches, and finally an incredible 46-inch red drum. It was one of those rare days that you'll be talking about for years. This was truly the fishing experience of a lifetime and one none of us will ever forget. Captain Mike put us on the fish, kept us in the action, and worked tirelessly to make sure we had an unforgettable trip. If you're thinking about booking a charter, don't hesitate—Captain Mike will not disappoint.

Captain Mike is great! He worked hard to put us on some fish. We landed a few spanish mackerel and bluefish and lost a few at the boat. We had a great time fishing!
