Captain Mike Put Us on a Red Drum Blitz We’ll Never Forget!
Half Day Trip (PM) on June 24, 20264 adults

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolute blast! The trip started hot with six bluefish in the first 30 minutes, and we thought it couldn't get any better. Then Captain Mike got a call, and it was game on. We raced over to a massive school of red drum, and what happened next was something straight out of a fishing show. Huge reds were rolling on the surface, crashing bait, and chasing fish in every direction. The water was alive. As soon as we pulled up, all four lines went out from the bow. Within seconds, we were hooked up and brought in a beautiful 43-inch red. After a quick release, we got right back into the action. The frenzy was unbelievable. Again, all four lines launched, and one after another we were hooked up. At that point everyone was yelling, rods were bent, drags were screaming, and Captain Mike was expertly directing traffic while we battled fish all around the boat. For the next 35 minutes it was nonstop action. One giant after another came over the rail: 44 inches, 43 inches, 44 inches, and finally an incredible 46-inch red drum. It was one of those rare days that you'll be talking about for years. This was truly the fishing experience of a lifetime and one none of us will ever forget. Captain Mike put us on the fish, kept us in the action, and worked tirelessly to make sure we had an unforgettable trip. If you're thinking about booking a charter, don't hesitate—Captain Mike will not disappoint.

Tough time of year but caught fish
Half Day Trip (AM) on July 23, 20252 adults

July is a tough time of year in OBX but Captain Mike worked hard and put me and my 13 year old son on fish. First we went after Speckled Trout and did catch a few even though the water was a little murky. Then Mike got word there were Blues nearby and we made a 5 minute run to get on a school of Blues and caught one after another; probably at least a dozen! Eventually the school moved off & Mike asked us if we wanted to go after some more Trout or try for some Drum. We decided on Drum and made a ten minute run to his favorite spot. We fished there until our time was about up with no luck on the Drum, but my son hooked a huge skate that put up a hell of a fight. Though it was a little windy, it was a beautiful day and we had a blast! Captain Mike is very personable and knows his stuff & where to go. We’ll definitely book him again next year.

Great fishing
Half Day Trip (PM) on July 2, 20263 adults1 child

First time visit to the Outer Banks region with my 2 boys and went fishing. Captain Mike knew the spots to fish at and we got tons of mackerel, couple of mahi mahi and bonito. Kids and I had a blast and we made a lot of good memories. We will be back for sure.

Half Day Trip (PM) on June 25, 20263 adults

Captain Mike was great. He was so nice to us and moved around until he got us on the fish. We got a bunch of Blue Fish and then he found some Red Drum. What a blast they were to catch. We would definitely go out with Captain Mike again.
