Got-em Charters will take you on a family friendly adventure you’ll remember for a long time. Based in Hatteras, NC, they offer fishing trips year round. Explore bountiful fishing spots, go clamming on the sandy flats of Hatteras Island, and see the beaches where Blackbeard used to roam. No fishing experience is necessary for you to join the action. Everything you need to know you can learn right on the spot.
The trip takes place on a 25’ Parker that accommodates up to 6 guests. This center console is powered by a 250 HP Suzuki engine and can quickly take you to your fishing spot. The boat has the latest navigational electronics, up-to-date safety gear, a live bait tank, downriggers, and also snorkeling equipment in case you want to jump right in.
You’ll go after a wide variety of fish along the coasts, bays, and deep ocean areas of North Carolina’s Outer Banks. The most well-known species are Kingfish, Flounder, Black Drum, Amberjack, and Trout, with Cobia and Red Drum being the most popular. With such a variety of targets comes a variety of fishing techniques, so you can use light tackle, go fly fishing, bottom fishing, spinning, trolling, and more.
All fishing equipment is included, as well as rods, reels, and live bait. Bring your food, drinks, and sun protection for the day. You get to keep the catch and catch cleaning is charged extra.

Slow start, strong finish.
Jerry was excellent. We were acheduled.for Sunday morning trip but winds were forecasted to be rough. Jerry contacted me me to **hidden content** the option to reschedule as we had my 3 kids. We went out Monday afternoon. Tried an area of the water that was rough but known for red drum. Unfortunately fish were not biting there and we only caught one fish in the first two hours. Kids were getting sea sick due to the waves and he recommended going trolling in a different area. He was knowledgeable and drop three different lines to see if any fish bite. Before we know it, one line was catching like crazy and he put out another one at the same.depth. We walked away with over dozen fish, not including the few we lost off the hook. He was great in helping my kids and was very knowledgeable of the waters and area. Look forward to booking with him again.

Great Fun Fishing with Captain Jerry
Although the windy, colder temperatures had the water rough and choppy, and probably set the fish back a little, Captain Jerry did his absolute best to work around these adverse conditions and took us to many different fishing spots in the sound. Although the fish just weren't hitting, we got to try a couple different techniques fishing for red drum and bluefish. This was me and my husband's first time visiting Hatteras Island, and we definitely had an awesome time fishing with Captain Jerry and plan on coming back! He is very knowledgeable about fishing and the area, and will do everything in his power to put you on fish. It was a pleasure getting to know him and we will be back!

Fishing with Jerry
This is my 6th trip to Hatteras and I’ve always wanted to charter a boat. This year I finally did it and after much research I went with Got-Em Charters. Capt. Jerry. He had excellent reviews and was reasonable priced. The weather was perfect and we had a great time! Capt. Jerry was very knowledgeable of the area and the fish. The boat was set up perfect for fishing and Capt. Jerry provided everything needed for a great trip. Capt. Jerry even gave my son tips and pointers for fishing from the beach later that day. I would recommend Capt. Jerry and Got-Em Charters.

Great Day with Captain Jerry
Three of us went out with Got-em on a chilly mid October morning. Captain Jerry was friendly and communicated clearly throughout the trip. His vessel was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We started by casting for trout, then moved on to bottom fishing while casting. Unfortunately nothing was hitting. The last third of our trip we moved out into quite choppy waters and got into some blues. I caught the largest blue I’ve ever landed. Since we found them late, Captain Jerry kept us out a bit of extra time no charge while we caught more blues. We ended-up with a nice dinner and a great experience. Thank you, Captain for showing us a great time! A+

Captain Gerry’s awesome
We had such a good fishing trip. Not only did Gerry help us catch plenty of bluefish and Spanish mackerel, but he was a great person to talk to and tell us about Outer Banks. He was extremely knowledgeable of the waters for fishing and navigating and picked out the perfect bait for the perfect spots. We caught enough to release the extra back. They even have cheap cleaning services at the pier. Great trip.
