Got-em Charters will take you on a family friendly adventure you'll remember for a long time. Based in Hatteras, NC, they offer fishing trips year round. Explore bountiful fishing spots, go clamming on the sandy flats of Hatteras Island, and see the beaches where Blackbeard used to roam. No fishing experience is necessary for you to join the action. Everything you need to know you can learn right on the spot.

The trip takes place on a 25' Parker that accommodates up to 6 guests. This center console is powered by a 250 HP Suzuki engine and can quickly take you to your fishing spot. The boat has the latest navigational electronics, up-to-date safety gear, a live bait tank, downriggers, and also snorkeling equipment in case you want to jump right in.

You'll go after a wide variety of fish along the coasts, bays, and deep ocean areas of North Carolina's Outer Banks. The most well-known species are Kingfish, Flounder, Black Drum, Amberjack, and Trout, with Cobia and Red Drum being the most popular. With such a variety of targets comes a variety of fishing techniques, so you can use light tackle, go fly fishing, bottom fishing, spinning, trolling, and more.

All fishing equipment is included, as well as rods, reels, and live bait. Bring your food, drinks, and sun protection for the day. You get to keep the catch and catch cleaning is charged extra.

Slow start, strong finish.

4 Hour Trip on August 3, 2025 • 3 adults • 3 children

Jerry was excellent.  We were acheduled.for Sunday morning trip but winds were forecasted to be rough. Jerry contacted me me to give.us the option to reschedule as we had my 3 kids.  We went out Monday afternoon.  Tried an area of the water that was rough but known for red drum.  Unfortunately fish were not biting there and we only caught one fish in the first two hours.  Kids were getting sea sick due to the waves and he recommended going trolling in a different area.  He was knowledgeable and drop three different lines to see if any fish bite.  Before we know it, one line was catching like crazy and he put out another one at the same.depth.  We walked away with over dozen fish, not including the few we lost off the hook.  He was great in helping my kids and was very knowledgeable of the waters and area.  Look forward to booking with him again.

Captain Jerry was great! Had us on fish within 15 minutes of getting to our fishing spot. Jerry is very knowledgeable and easy to work with, and  patient with teaching at all skill levels. I would highly recommend Got ‘Em Charters if you’re coming to Hatteras!

In all fairness it was a bad day to fish.  Windy and choppy most of the day.  Captain Jerry did a great job knowing when and where to put us on some fish.  Everyone in our party caught enough fish for a great feast later that evening.  All blues and a couple trout.  Will be using him again next year.  Can’t wait to rip lips with Cpt. jerry bext year.
