Jungle Perch Angling Adventures 

If you're in the market for a professional, guided experience near Cairns, look no further than Jungle Perch Angling Adventures.

Here you'll have access to backcountry waters, including some spots that only the locals know about. Around here it's common to go fly fishing, which is how you'll get acquainted with these waters. Gaelen will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.

Depending on conditions, you might hook into Barramundi, Jungle Perch, Mangrove Snapper or Australian Tarpon. Note that your guide practices catch-and-release fishing, so you won't be taking any fish home with you after the trip.

You're welcome to bring a group as large as 2 on this guided experience, kids over 12 years of age as well. You'll make your way to the fishing grounds on foot or by car, so dress accordingly and bring only as much as you can carry.

You're encouraged to dress in layers and the proper footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen, no matter the weather. Gaelen will have some snacks and drinks for you.
