Running angling trips out of Nassau, Island Time Bahamas Charters invites you to check out the local fishery in style. They specialize in light tackle fishing. Offshore, Reef, and Spearfishing can be done or mixed with snorkeling or beaching.
Fish locally in the Nassau area or visit less traveled areas to fish in the out Islands.
Capt. Jason aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what you're after! Depending on the trip and species, you'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, spearfishing, and spinning. You're looking at 4 to 8-hour trips, where you'll usually go after the likes of Barracuda, Dolphin, Wahoo, Snapper, Grouper, and Lobster, depending on the trip, weather, and time of year.
The boat is an Offshore Cigarette that has been modified and refit in 2019 for fishing. The boat can take a group of guys but is also comfortable enough for a family. This boat features a toilet and ice box.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing.
As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain, so you don't have to worry about it.
You'll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip.
There will be a first mate on board to help you with anything you need. Tips for good service are always appreciated.
The boat will be supplied with snacks, and drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

They made my son (9) feel right at home on the boat and even helped him capture footage for his first fishing video. These guys are not some tourist trap organization…they truley care about their home fishery and do everything the right way! May come back to Nassau just to fish with them again. hoping they can join us in New Jersey to check out our fishery.

They were very knowledgeable which made us catch a lot of fish, including Porgies, groupers and snappers. My eight-year-old even snagged a 10 foot Nurse shark! Capt Jason and his son Jason were very friendly and made the experience so much better. They even cleaned our fish and took us to the Margaritaville restaurant where they prepared it for us and was one of the best fish we ever had!  Definitely recommend to anyone who’s in the area!

4 Hour Trip – Reef Fishing on March 11, 2024 • 4 adultsI actually booked two trips Jason (Sr) and his son, Jason (Jay) . The first trip was a private snorkeling trip with the eight of us and Captain Eddie. Everyone had a great time, and the experience was very smooth. The second trip was with Jay. Me and my three boys went on a lobster spearfishing trip. Jay was somewhat under the weather but he persevered and did a great job. The boat was spotless and powerful, and got us to where we needed to go. The entire day was a really fun experience that we will all cherish. By the way, we spared six beautiful lobsters which we had for dinner.

This was a spearfishing trip for my son‘s 21st birthday. They were able to get us on some giant lobsters and a good size grouper. Took us to an island restaurant to cook it up with drinks and pool. Jason and Jason were absolutely the best. Easy to get to know, genuine, we landed some serious pound for pound grouper. They took us to a beautiful classic Bahamian beach restaurant and ate some of our catch. the whole day was perfect. Thank you Jason and we'll see you again in two days!
