Running angling trips out of Nassau, Secret Cays invites you to check out the local fishery in style.
Capt. Javano will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in deep-sea fishing and trolling, all to get you on that bite. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Marlin, Sailfish, and Snapper, depending on the season and conditions on the day.
Your fishing adventure starts on a custom 35' Donzi center console boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat features a dedicated restroom inside the console, a multimedia system, Bluetooth, and front bow seating/lounge space.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. You can keep anything you catch as long as it's legal to do so.
Here to help you with anything you need, the first mate will be on hand during the trip. Leaving a tip for a job well done is much appreciated. There will be complimentary bottled water aboard for your convenience during the trip, but feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks if you prefer.

The captain from Secret Cays Charter in Nassau, Bahamas recommended we try again Thursday, and that turned out to be the best decision we could’ve made. My wife and I booked a private trip, and before we even left, he told us the bite had been extremely tough—several boats were out and only one fish had been caught all day. But he didn’t just take us fishing—he went to work. He put in the effort, kept us moving, and never gave up. And because of that, he got us on not one, but TWO incredible Mahi Mahi—a cow and a bull, both around 5 feet long. The cow came in at 40 lbs, and the bull was pushing 50 lbs. In conditions where almost no one else was catching anything, he delivered an unforgettable experience. If you’re booking a fishing trip in Nassau, Bahamas—Secret Cays Charter is hands down the one you want. Hardworking, determined, and knows how to get it done.

3/4 Day Trip on November 24, 2023 • 2 adultsJust back after a beautiful 6 hr fishing trip offshore out of Nassau. Very very pleasant and rewarding trip with the crew of Secrets Cay ( father son team). The capt and mate ( his son), were very friendly and answered all of our questions with a smile on their faces. Little tough out there but they had us on fish fairly quick. My son boated an above avg wahoo and a Jack but also had other opportunities where the fish came out victorious over the fisherman. Unfortunately lost a few too but cant catch them all. That is why we will be rebooking with this team, to come back and catch the ones we left behind. We fish a lot back home in Canada and these guys made me feel like I was on my own boat. Thanks guys and we will be back in a few weeks. Tight lines!!!!!!
