If you’re ready to have a fun day of fishing around Clearwater/Clearwater Beach, book a trip with Wish Upon A Fish Charters. Having logged many hours on the waters surrounding Clearwater Beach, Captain Ethan is prepared to put you on fish!

Snook, Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, Tarpon, Gag Grouper, Jack Crevalle, Mangrove Snapper, Cobia, Tripletail, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Pompano, and more could be biting, depending on the season.

Trips with Wish Upon A Fish Charters are great for kids, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children under the age of 6 are required to wear a life jacket while the boat is under way. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

Your trip begins aboard a 22’ Tidewater bay boat that holds up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
You’ll find rods, reels, live bait and all the proper tackle waiting for you.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.

Bringing sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses is never a bad idea. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain Ethan is the charter to book!

Captain Ethan was awesome! We’ve chartered a fishing trip in the past, and this was heads & shoulders 100 times better. Ethan knew where to go for the fishing activity. He set us up with live baited hooks, and bang! We were catching fish left & right. Good sized fish with a good fight to reel them in. Our family had a blast! Ethan also connected with a couple other fishing charter buddies to communicate with each other where fish were hitting. He took us there, and more fish biting one after another. He helped us out where we needed help, and got us some great catches for a fresh fish dinner. We caught mackerel, flounder, trout, & snapper for keeping. Also caught puffer fish, cobia, jack crevalle, & even a black tipped shark. I’d highly recommend Captain Ethan if you’re looking to book a fishing charter. Fantastic!

Amazing experience!

We had an absolutely fantastic day on the water with Captain Ethan! From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. We caught plenty of fish, and Captain Ethan made sure everyone was involved and having fun. What stood out the most was how patient and friendly he was with the kids—he took the time to teach them, answered all their questions, and kept them engaged the entire trip. Perfect Family Trip

2 Hr AM Trip - Inshore on April 24, 2025 • 1 adult • 2 children

The top thing my 11 year-old son wanted to do during our trip to Clearwater was to go fishing. We had only gone fishing a few times back home a did one other FL charter four months ago. Captain Ethan was fantastic! He put us right on the fish. In total, me my son and 8 year-old daughter caught 20-25 fish including 4 keepers and one that was too big to keep. Captain Ethan flayed our fish back at the dock. We took them to the restaurant at the hotel we were staying at and the chef cooked them up for us. Very tasty and it only about $30 for them to cook the fish. The two hour trip was perfect for the kids. We all had a blast! Highly recommended Captain Ethan.

I took my 12, 9, and 4 year old kids on his kids chartered and we had an absolute blast. We probably caught around 40 fish and Ethan worked his butt off to make sure the kids were taken care of. Highly recommend him!
