Captain Jonathan Bland aims to give his guests a true taste of the Chesapeake Bay. Hop aboard the ultimate light tackle boat, a beautiful 20' Jones Brothers and see what the Bay has to offer! Each day out is an adventure catered to the exact style of fishing and desired species that you want.
His trips specialize in light tackle and fly fishing based out of Annapolis, Maryland. Within a short boat ride, you have the option to fish for multiple species throughout the day. If there is a special request or location you have always wanted to fish on the Chesapeake Bay he is also open to traveling to make the trip happen. Having fished almost all of the middle Bay region, there isn't a place he hasn't been or isn't willing to try out!
Throughout the winter, he spends most of his time targeting Tidal Chain Pickerel and Yellow Perch in the Bay's tributaries around the Annapolis area, and occasionally Striped Bass. In the spring, summer, or fall he targets a variety of species including Striped Bass, White Perch, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, and Speckled Trout.
The captain will provide all fishing rods, tackle, lures, and licensing. If you would like to keep fish, he's happy to clean them for you once returning to the dock.

The captain came prepared and knew all the good spots to hit to ensure a great trip!
Capt jonathon is great. We had a great day on his boat. The fishing was slow but capt worked hard all day tio get us to the fish. Very knowledgeable and passionate about fishing in Chesapeake bay. Very friendly and easy to get along with. Fun dog for my son and I and I would call him again.
We had a great experience with Captain Jonathan! My 12-year old son caught his first fish ever. Captain Jonathan knew all of the best spots for us to catch enough fish for dinner.
Fishing with Jonathan was AMAZ-ING! Jonathan was super knowledgeable, kind and easy to learn from! Definitely will book with him for fishing again !
We went out for our anniversary and had an awesome experience. Jonathan is great, we highly recommend him!
