You're looking at 4 to 8-hour trips, where you'll usually go after the likes of Spotted Seatrout, Tarpon, Redfish, Snook, King Mackerel, and Spanish Mackerel, depending on the weather and time of year.
Your fishing adventure starts on the nicest and newest boat in the area, a 2024 custom Tidewater 2500 Carolina Bay that can safely take up to 4 anglers. This boat features an ice-box, wireless trolling motor, dual power poles, and a tower with a second station.
When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. The captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip.
You'll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip.

Derek was the best, he asked if we were flexible to adjust our trip by a few hours because the reds were more active in the afternoon. He was right, we caught plenty of reds and they fought hard… Capt. Derek is wise and mature beyond his years. With young men like Derek representing our young people the future of America is bright! He was raised the right way and he was great with the two 17 year olds with us… We will definitely become regular customers of Capt. Derek

Since they were out of season and we wanted to get some dinner, we moved on to nail some big trout. Took our catch to Hog Island Fishcamp and they cooked it perfectly. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Half Day Trip on December 17, 2025 • 1 adultWent out just me and the captian late december and was catching fish practically the whole time. 4 hour trip was exactly what i was looking for, got on some snook, red fish, black drum, sheapshead, bunch of trout, and all sorts of other fish. Will most likely do again and recommend for any kind of angler.

We had so much fun ! We caugh two types of catfish, Spanish mackerel, a lot of trout, some lady fish, and we caught a cool puffer fish!! We will book again with the family next time !
great guys they do what it takes to put you on fish we started catching fish first cast was a perfect trip we only got the 2 hr trip was perfect with wife and kids but id suggest the 4 hr cause i hate seeing fun come to a end ;). they also took time out of there day to make sure the kids got to see the dolphins such a great trip

A West Coast of Florida Native, Capt. Derek Dormois is one of the best and youngest captains in the beautiful Clearwater/Dunedin area. Capt. Derek has been fishing these waters for as long as he can remember, and will ensure an excellent day on the waters he calls home. His passion for fishing and the environment goes beyond being an established inshore guide, as he graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor's degree in Marine Biology in the fall of 2023. The process to becoming an inshore guide was a unique one for Capt. Derek as nobody in his family had ever been interested in fishing, so it's ironic this is the profession he found himself in! Capt. Derek also loves taking kids fishing, he has been coaching youth baseball for the past 5 years and enjoys giving back to the sport that he played for 14 years while growing up. Overall, Capt. Derek has a devotion to helping people catch fish which is ultimately why he got into the charter/guide industry. Whether you are a novice, expert, or anything in between, he's got you covered!
