Kujawa Outdoors runs angling trips out of Lake City and the surrounding towns along the Mississippi River and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.
Come spend a day, Walleye fishing on the Mississippi River and beautiful Lake Pepin. Whether it's just catching fish for a meal, wanting to learn a specific technique, or getting more familiar with Lowrance electronics, Chris and Joe will be able to provide a fun, successful, and educational time on the water. Over the course of the year, many different techniques will be put to work, offering a wide array of opportunities to learn something new.
Your adventure begins on board a 20' Nitro boat that can fit a maximum of 3 anglers. With multiple boats available for larger groups/families to come together.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please keep in mind that you'll need to get a fishing license before the start of the trip.
There will be complimentary water on board for your convenience during the trip, but feel free to bring your own drinks or snacks if you prefer.

4 Hour Trip on August 3, 2024 • 3 adultsOur Captain and fishing guide, Joe, was so professional, punctual and educational, we were blown away! Just the nicest guy you could ever meet. Very knowledgeable about fishing, explaining to our boys how to identify each type of fish we caught, showing us how to hold the fish safely. He took us to several spots on the Mississippi and Lake Peppin to make sure we caught fish. When it was all done Joe joyfully offered to clean and bag the walleye we caught. Sometimes guides offer this service but then when you ask them to they give a heavy sigh and their body language tells you they do not want to, or they tell you that is an additional cost—- Not the case w/Joe. He was so pleasant and happy to do so and it was included in the experience package. Starting out at 6:30am seems early—but if we did it again I would ask to meet up to get on the boat by 5:45am. The number of fisherman out there by 6/6:15am was already getting packed. Our family will definitely use this fishing service again! —Fluegel

Captain Joe showed Jane and I how to work the poles to land our Walleye. Which was very enjoyable.Our fishing experience on Lake Pepin met and exceeded our expectations when we decided to come north and catch some Walleye. We highly recommend Captain Joe and Captain Chris, operators of Kujawa Outdoors for your fishing experience. We could not have asked for a better captain to pilot us around Lake Pepin.Lake City is a cool town too!

Growing up in Lake City, MN Chris and Joe have been avid fishermen all of their lives. In the beginning, it was riding their bikes down and around the local marinas and creeks catching everything that bit. Once a boat became involved there became no more boundaries and new techniques were mastered. Many years of experience on the water all around the upper Midwest and success on the national professional walleye stage have garnered them a lasting reputation within the industry and amongst their competitors. Being crowned champions in the AIM and Masters Walleye Circuit doesn't come easy and is a testament to their fishing knowledge.
