MedCity Adventures Guide Service is your ticket to the stunning waters of Southeastern Minnesota.
From Brown, Brook and Rainbow Trout to Catfish, Crappie, Musky Yellow Perch, Northern Pike, Sunfish, Walleye, and more, Captain Spencer is willing to target any species in our area you desire. You can expect to do some spinning, trolling, drifting or Capt. Spencer also offers fly fishing on some of the driftless region's most picturesque streams.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Life jackets of all sizes are available. But, do remember to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your trip begins aboard a 24' Pro Troll Center Console Angler Qwest Tritoon specifically designed for fishing. The 824 can fish up to 6 individuals comfortably, including individuals with disabilities and mobility issues. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. All equipment will be provided, including, rods, reels, tackle and bait.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. Minnesota state fishing license can be purchased online or in person at participating retailers. If you have questions concerning licenses, please reach out to Captain Spencer.
It's always wise to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid glass bottles.

There were some variables that were out of Spencer’s control: weather, motor, etc., but despite these things, we had a great time. Spencer was an effective communicator and very knowledgeable. He was patient, calm, and friendly. Spencer was professional in his approach and allowed us another date to makeup for the motor issues, which is more than generous! Highly recommend

6 Hour Trip on May 1, 2024I have been on multiple guided trips with Spencer. Both in a boat and also ice fishing. He Always seem to find fish most times getting our limits Spencer always seems to figure out what they are hungry for. Very personable and willing to try new spots. Will continue to go to Spencer to find the big ones.

Our guide, Spencer, was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the local waters and fishing techniques but also passionate about making sure we had the best experience possible. Being a teacher, myself, I was super in pressed how MedCity interacted with the kids along on the trip ensuring that everyone feels confident and excited. It did matter if you’re a seasoned angler or a complete beginner! MedCity was equipped with top-notch gear, which made for a comfortable and efficient trip. 6 Hour Trip on August 17, 2022I surprised my son with a fishing trip for his bday...the absolute best joy this mom has ever had with him. Spencer was beyond incredible in every way. His knowledge of the waters, his skills, and incredible personality made this such a fantastic day. He truly loves what he does and it shows! Spencer and his crew were very patient with the kids and taught them how to ice fish with tip-ups. It was cold outside, but we had a great time catching crappies! We did not have any luck with the tip-ups, but maybe next time. Using the live scope really had our kids interested and excited to fish!

With a Bachelor's degree in Recreation and Sport Management and a minor in Outdoor Education with emphasis in Field Biology/Ecology and Travel/Tourism, Capt. Spencer has the knowledge and expertise to guide you and your family or friends on your very own 'MedCity Adventure' Operating a 24' Angler Qwest Center console, Capt. Spencer ensures a comfortable and educational experience on the famed waters of the Mississippi River's Pools 4 and 5 as well as the other countless bodies of water in the area.

How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
What the listing policies are
Pickup agreed upon reservation
Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.
How you can pay
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 30% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
