These waters are known for Marlin, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Roosterfish, Amberjack, Barracuda, Jack, Mackerel, Snapper, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before 'Fish on!' You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Whisper also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Young ones are welcome, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board.
Your fishing machine for the day is a 29' Mako center console that holds up to 4 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. Don't forget to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.

We took a 9 hour offshore trip with these guys and it was amazing. easy to contact them for meet up time/location. captain and mate we very knowledgeable and helpful and explained everything we needed to do. actually got tonsee alot of turtles and a ton of humpbacks through the day and the fishing was amazing. landed 3 big sails had multiple others chashing baits. caught all the grouper and snapper you could ask for and even some yellow tuna. wasnt a dull moment all day. plus this crew, you can tell have been working together for sometime because they were very efficient and stayed fishing all day. plus between the beverages and snacks and lunch, you couldnt ask for much more hospitality. cleaned and bagged up all the fish at the end of the day. If your looking to be exhausted at the end of the day from reeling in soo many fish, then look no further!!
Fishing on the Whisper with Cat La Patrona was a real great experience. His crew was outstanding and we had a double hookup with Sailfish and brought them both in......not to mention a threat fishing day with Yellowfin Tuna to Boot! Can't wait to return and fish with the Crew. Awesome hospitality. Best was, his Capt. prepared our tuna and recommended to take the catch over to the Cocos Restaurant, where we had the most delicious Poke and Tuna feast....... Richard & Carol

Although our primary target of Marlin and sailfish were not at all plentiful in the area we still catch one sailfish. We then made a 13 mile run to catch yellowfin tube circling a huge pod of dolphin. So a successful trip

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
