Depending on the trip and species, you'll be using techniques like drift fishing, jigging, and spinning. You're looking at 3.5 hour trips, where you'll usually go after the likes of Flathead, Jewfish, Trevally, Whiting, Bream, and Shark, depending on the weather and time of year.
Your boat for the day will be a 22' Trimcraft that fits up to 5 anglers at any one time. The boat comes with an ice box.
When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price.
You can keep anything you catch, as long as it's legal to do so.

Half Day Trip – Calmwater on February 2, 2025
My son and I had never been fishing and this was the best morning out! Vince our captain was brilliant, so patient, encouraging, helpful and he truly made it such a positive experience. My son (10 years old) has ASD and spends a lot of time gaming and to see his joy and excitement (and ability to remain engaged on a 3 hour boat trip!) speaks volumes. Apparently fishing is his new favourite hobby. I can’t recommend this enough! Thanks Vince for making this such a great experience.

I recently had the pleasure of taking my son and his friends on a fishing charter with Vince, I cannot recommend it highly enough. The boat was amazing, plenty of room for everyone to walk around and not be on top of each other. From the moment we boarded the boat, it was clear Vince was an exceptionally experienced seasoned professional. What truly set this experience apart was his incredible patience with our children. He took the time to teach them how to cast their lines, bait their hooks, and reel in their catches. His calm and encouraging demeanor made the kids feel confident and excited about fishing. He knew the best fishing spots and shared his extensive knowledge about the local marine life. His expertise ensured that we had a successful and enjoyable fishing trip, with constant hookups the whole time we were on the boat. We came to the Gold Coast for our honeymoon and booked a fishing trip. It was a fantastic experience with great weather and beautiful scenery.
