Running angling trips out of Hollywood, Chasin Finz II Sport Fishing invites you to check out the local fishery in style.

Capt. Joshua is here to get you on some fish, and to make sure you have fun doing it. You’ll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, kite fishing, and spinning, depending on what you’re going after. As part of their 3 to 8-hour trips, you can target species like Dolphin, Amberjack, Sailfish, Barracuda, King Mackerel, and Grouper, depending on the current season and weather conditions.

You’ll be fishing from a 26’ Dusky boat with enough room for up to 4 anglers at any single time. It also includes an ice box.

All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that’s up to you is to use it as best you can. As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain so you don’t have to worry about it.

You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

01/17/26 26ft boat. Our party consisted of my brother, his wife, my wife and I. We did the 4hr morning trip. The girls were comfortable and had a blast just going for a boat ride reading and enjoying the beautiful weather as my brother and I caught fish. Josh started off with some trolling. We went parrellel with the beach. It was cool to see the skyline from the oceans perspective. After we trolled for awhile we caught some bait fish to drop on a shipwreck ( I asked before the trip on the app if we could try for amberjack). Josh made the opportunity happen. After that Josh said time to catch some tasty fish for dinner. Sure enough we did. Ended the 4 hrs jigging for some red eye. We caught dinner and are excited to have the local restaurant Josh suggested to prepare them for us. The trip was perfect. Between trolling, dropping live bait, and jigging off the bottom. Josh covered all the different ways to catch as many different fish as possible. Would recommend to anybody.

Great Family Fishing Experience!!

I’ve been on a few charters and I’ve never seen any captain try harder to see my 12 yr old grandson’s dream of catching a barracuda come true than Captn Jimmy! He explained everything to him, answered all his questions and even let him drive the boat briefly. We covered vast territories trying to find the elusive barracuda. My grandson was still just as excited recounting his experience the following day as he was the day before we went. At 12 years of age, he’s quite the accomplished fisherman and understands when they’re not biting. He says we’ll just have to come back to fish with Captn Jimmy! Highly recommended!!

Half day trip with Captain Josh

We were fortunate to get in for a spot with Captain Josh. I explained to my kids that fishing can be really good or really tough and we may not catch anything. Captain Josh was amazing from the start and was welcoming and catered to whatever we wanted to experience. We started slow but then the bite picked up and we had fish on!! I have fished a lot and seeing how patient Captain Josh was with my 11 year old son and teaching him things made the trip worth every penny!! The whole crew of Chasin Finz is beyond exceptional, making the memories and experience of ocean fishing last a lifetime!! I highly recommend this charter, not just for the chance to catch fish but for the experience that can be shared for years to come! We will definitely go out again with Chasin Finz!!
