Spend the day with Peacemaker Charters and let them show you what makes the fishing in Gulf Shores so memorable! With Captain Chase at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
These waters are home to Skipjack Tuna, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Red Snapper, Cobia, Triggerfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo and more if you come at the right time of year.
During the trip, you might be spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Chase can also show you kite fishing.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
You’ll find yourself aboard a 35’ Henriques saltwater fishing boat with room for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Peacemaker Charters!
