Stressed Out Charters welcomes you to the stunning waters of Gulf Shores. Captain Scott will be your guide, which means you'll tap into years of sportfishing experience.
You're likely to fish for King Mackerel (Kingfish), Vermilion Snapper, Bull Shark, Red Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, and more if you cast your line at the right time of year. During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You'll be fishing aboard a Custom 34' Palmetto center console with room for 6 passengers. It has and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

The captain took us right to the spots for the fish for us to catch! My husband and I were used to fishing for bass here in Ky so we had to control ourselves on jerking the pole like we would for bass , we all had fun with that! The captains 2 kids were the ones helping us bait, take off fish, anything that needed done. They were so friendly and so much fun. I love that it’s a family working together. We caught several red snappers and I caught the biggest and the most! We Definetely will fish with stressed out charters again when visiting gulf shores!
