Down South Charters is located in Naples and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters.
Come on aboard with Capt. Robbie Sommer, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to fish on light tackle using spinning. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 to 8-hour trips, where you’ll be fishing for the likes of Snook, Snapper, Redfish, Tarpon, Cobia, and King Mackerel, depending on the specific season and the day’s weather.
Your adventure begins on board a 2022 25’ Pathfinder boat that can fit a maximum of 4 anglers. The boat is fitted with an ice box, and a wireless trolling motor.
When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. No need to worry about fishing licenses, as they will be provided and handled by the charter.
You’ll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip.
The price of your trip also includes complimentary snacks and drinks, but you’re welcome to bring your own. Please let the captain know if you have any questions or special requests.
Children are welcome aboard so you’re good to get the young ones started early.

Nice Family Trip
Captain Rob did a great job getting us on fish even with substandard weather.... It was a little windy and there was remnant chopped up waters from storms the day before. But the 4 of each caught 6-8 fish of various species including Sheepshead, Toad Fish, Snapper, and Catfish !!! We had a very nice day on the water and caught some fish as a bonus ! Captain Rob was a pleasure to talk to, great information, and knows the waters well. We would definitely fish with him again on an offshore adventure !!!

Great time. Robbie was awesome. Had some good Tarpon bites and brought in a 37 inch Snook, a couple Bonitos and many smaller snook. Highly recommend him. Action packed 6 hours.

Great Captain
Great Captain. Was a hard day fishing and he still put us on fish. Was personable and knowledgeable. Took my fishing amateur daughter under his wing and made a memorable day for both of us. Will absolutely fish with Captain Robbie again. Spend your day with him, you won’t be disappointed.

Killin’ it harder than a swordfish at a sword fight!
Capt Robbie absolutely killed it! His knowledge and facts were unparalleled. Dude was so attentive and made us feel completely welcomed. He made sure we all caught something and knew all the good spots. We did the inland tour and can’t wait to come back and fish offshore with him.

Great Trip!
Despite tough conditions, Captain Robbie put us on the fish and we had a great time. Highly recommend Down South Charters for both experienced and novice fishermen. We caught 8 or 9 different species, had plenty of keepers and my ten year old daughter had a blast.
