Sea Hag is a 46 ft. Buddy Harris powered with a pair of Caterpillar C12's. This boat has the classic Carolina flare for a smooth comfortable ride. Buddy Harris boats are well known for being the ultimate offshore fishing machines made famous for fishing the unpredictable offshore waters off North Carolina's Coast. She is fully rigged with all the latest USCG safety equipment, state-of-the-art electronics, a large 130# class fighting chair, and top of the line modern fishing tackle for trolling, bottom fishing or casting for every possible situation. Plus, her roomy salon with two very comfortable sofas, refrigerator, microwave, and a/c is perfect for making your charter an enjoyable experience for the entire family.
On the Sea Hag during our offshore (10hr) charter we target Tuna, Marlin, Dolphin, Bigeyes, Sailfish, Cobia, plus bottom fishing. With our inshore charters (4hr or 6hr) we target Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Drum, Cobia, and Ribbonfish.
We are docked at Wanchese Marina which has plenty of free parking for your vehicle when you arrive and professional fish cleaning and packaging available for when we return to the docks. Our marina's grill opens at 6am so you will also be able to have a quick breakfast and coffee before your fish catching excursion begins. Captain Frank has over 30 years of charter fishing experience, the Sea Hag team goes to every effort possible to ensure your friends and family have an exceptional and affordable fish catching adventure. Captain gave us the option before departure to fuah the sound or go out the inlet due to weather. We chose to stay in the sound and had a great time. Brought home about 20 fish that were a mix of Spanish Makerel and Bluefish.
such a great trip and the captain and mate were amazing! we caught 18 1/2 (a maco took half of one) fish ;)

Booked a trip with the crew of the Sea Hag. Fantastic experience. First mate Cody was outstanding, and Captain Frank was exceptional. They took very good care of us. Very knowledgeable and made sure our catch stayed fresh! Better than my last experience in the Outer Banks! Will be booking again with them next year!
