This is Captain Paul Sr., the owner of STOLAT Fishing Charters.  I’m somewhat confused about your comments on our Mate.  The words you used “Interaction” and “Instruction” leave me with many questions. I don’t know your expectations.  We are professional fishermen with many years of experence, our job is to take you fishing and insure that you catch fish.  My discussions with the Captain indicated that you were actually taken above and beyond a normal 4 hour trip.  Local fishing was poor so he went to locations not normally reached in a 4 Hour trip.  Our Mate Joseph is a life long, professional fisherman who is an expert fishing technician.  His job is technical and his primary duty is make sure all Tackle, Baits, Equipment and Fishing Fundamentals are properly set and in place to catch you fish.  We are proud of our fishing results and we do not take parties for “boat rides” or “sightseeing trips”.  The method of fishing employed was trolling.  Trolling requires the mate to properly set all lures and you, the party, wait for a hit and pull in the fish.  There is very little “interaction” or “instruction” necessary.  It is very simple fishing.  You can clearly understand that this world is made up of many different personalities.  We believe Joe did his job and produced fish on a day which might not have been as successful as we made it.  Hopefully this will help you better understand our operations.  Thank you for fishing with us.
