If you're ready to try fishing in beautiful Destin, Florida waters, look no further than Executive Saltwater Charters. Having logged many hours on these waters, Master Captain Barry is prepared to put you on fish.
Cobia (seasonal), Redfish, Mangrove Snapper, Speckled Trout, Tarpon (seasonal) and more inhabit these waters if conditions are right. On these trips, you can expect to use light tackle in and around the Bay, fishing for Redfish and Speckled Trout, to name a few. During the season, you can expect to fish nearshore, targeting species such as Cobia and Tarpon.
Capt. Barry welcomes children ages 6 and up, so go ahead and bring the family along. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You'll step aboard a 27' Blazer Boat with ample space for 4 passengers (+ one child). It has a site tower and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included when available. There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle!
You can't go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor and no glass bottles. Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain and can tell you more.

This was our first fishing trip and it will definitely not be our last! Captain George was amazing. He was able to keep 2 teenage boys entertained and hooked on fish all trip! We started out catching our own bait fish and headed out to do our main fishing. We caught fish at all three stops during our trip. We caught amberjacks, red grouper, mangrove snapper, triggerfish and even a lion fish. This was a great first fishing trip for us and we are already planning a teip again next year. We did a 4 hour trip this time, but we will do the 6 hour trip next time. Highly recommend Executive Saltwater charters. We got a phone call the night before from Captain Barry the owner with directions and what to expect with our trip. We also got a follow up call after our trip! Great custimer service.

Want to catch 40in/40lb Bull Reds? Or you want to fill the cooler with Magnum Specks? How about both... Executive Charters will put you on em. Large, comfortable, powerful Bay Rig to keep you safe and dry. Capn George was rowing the boat for us... just as nice as can be and kept every hook full of shrimp or croaker just as fast as we could pull them in. We had such a great family trip I called Barry with Executive Charter and said... "Let's do that again!"... so we extended our stay and sure enough Uncle George took us out two days later and we did the same thing all over again. Can hardly wait till next go around.

My 10 year old son and I booked a fishing trip trip at the bay near Destin. Our guide was George. He did an awesome job at working the bay and trying different locations to find some redfish. We caught two keepers and had a great time out on the bay enjoying the fishing, beautiful water and scenery. Thanks for a great trip!!!

Could not have asked for a better day fishing. Huge red fish and speckled trout. I would recommend this trip to anyone looking to go fishing. The captain was professional and friendly which is definitely saying something these days. I will definitely go again when I’m back in this area.

I wanted to catch snapper, grouper and amberjack. Captain George put us on the fish. AJ’s were not in season but we caught a few! We had a blast and I highly recommend Executive Saltwater Charters!! The boat was immaculate and up to date with electronics!

Master Captain Barry is the founder of Executive Saltwater Charters. His lifetime of fishing and former career as a tournament Bass pro on the MLF Pro Circuit makes him one of the region's most reliable and knowledgeable captains on the water. Barry is a competitor by nature and prior to his fishing career, he competed on the football field as a running back for Auburn University. Barry has a contagious good outlook and attitude towards life. He strives for excellence and is known for always finding the fish and as one of the most personable captains in the Destin area. Captain Ryan joined Executive Saltwater Charters in Spring 2022. He is a New York native, but has called the Florida Panhandle home since the young age of 8. Once he moved to Florida, Ryan spent all his free time with a rod in his hand and grew to have a deep passion for the big blue. He spent a year mastering his love under the realm of Master Captain Barry where his work ethic and character provided him the role of running our largest vessel. Ryan is relentless on the water with the main goal of creating lifetime memories and an enjoyable experience while on board with one of his charters. Ryan is a former collegiate baseball player and when not on the water, he can be found golfing on the beautiful Emerald Coast greens. Don't miss out on a trip with Captain Ryan.
