The boat you'll be using is a 26' Key West center console powered by twin 200 HP Yamaha engine. It's equipped with GPS and a fishfinder for efficient navigation, a wireless trolling motor so you fish more discreetly, and a livewell to provide you with live bait. Up to 6 anglers can come aboard.
Using both light and heavy tackle, you can catch fish by bottom fishing, deep sea fishing, spinning, and popping. The species you can encounter on your trip include Red Snapper, Amberjack, King Mackerel, Cobia, Mahi-mahi, Vermillion, Porgy, Scamp Grouper, Gag Grouper, Spanish Mackerel, Spotted Seatrout, Gray Triggerfish, and Redfish SheepHead. You get to keep all the fish you catch and you're welcome to bring kids on your trip.
Captain Chris will take care of the fishing tackle, live bait, lures, as well as licenses. If you want him to, he can also clean and fillet your catch so it's ready for cooking as soon as you return home. Bring nothing but the snacks and drinks of your choice.

We booked the trip mainly for our 7 year old son who is obsessed with fishing. Captain Chris was absolutely amazing during the entire trip. He was patient, knowledgeable and so friendly. His deckhand, George, was also amazing and had a special touch at helping our son catch fish! We caught Grouper, Triggerfish, Red Snapper, and many more! They cleaned our fish afterwards which was a special treat! Our family had such a fantastic time and we plan on rebooking with Captain Chris from now on during our vacations!! Definitely recommend him!!!

We had a great experience with Chris and Shelly! They were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and knew the area so well. They got us on the fish right away — the mingos were biting faster than we could bait our hooks! When the waves stopped playing nice with our stomachs, they were so thoughtful and flexible. Instead of cutting the trip short or pushing through feeling sick, they gave us a scenic tour of the area and still made the experience enjoyable. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests having a good time. Highly recommend!

This was our first time booking with Shoal River Outdoors, and it won’t be our last! We were a little nervous because this was the first time our 7-year-old little girl had gone offshore fishing. Chris and his other deckhand went above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable for her. Everyone that went caught fish and made the trip and experience a 10/10.

Captain Chris and Deckhand Billy were both great. They kept our hooks baited and casted for us when necessary! They were also quick to unhook any fish we caught and were very knowledgeable about limits on each fish species! We tried for Redfish first at several great looking spots, but no big bites! They asked if we wanted more guaranteed action and took us to a back up artificial reef where we caught several keeper reef fish! Overall, it was a fun day, just wish the Reds would have been biting!

The trip couldnt have gone any better! We caught all the Mingo we could and Captain Chris did a great job of moving us when he felt we needed to move on. Caught our limit Mingo and Red Snapper and almost bagged us a Grouper for the Slam but he jumped the hook. Absolutely phenomenal time and a phenomenal Captain. Highly recommend!
