Species like Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, Almaco Jack, Jack Crevalle, Horse-eye Jack, African Pompano Jack, Striped Marlin, Blue Marlin, Needlefish, Rainbow Runner, and more can be found in these waters if conditions are right. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Jose also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Your trip begins aboard a 28’ center console with space for 5 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.
