Al’s Guide Service 

We just came from a memorable fishing experience in the beautiful Salmon River in Pulaski, NY, with Captain Al and we couldn’t be happier. From the time we booked, he was very communicative and clear what to expect and told us what to bring. This was our fourth weekend fishing in the Salmon River and fortunately we landed our first king salmon and we were able to land up to the limit allowed. Those previous trips/weekends without a guide unfortunately we were not able to land a fish. Captain Al was exceptionally patient with all of us being a total stranger to fly fishing because we used to fish with a spinning reel. His knowledge of the river is very obvious. His gear was top-notch and his way to teach us of the techiniques was very professional. He is also well respected with the people in the place especially with his friends and co-guides. And his friends also helped us a lot. We highly recommend Captain Al for those who would like to experience fishing in the Salmon River.

Al was a very good guide. Pleasent demeanor and definitely knew the river. We were casting lines within 5 minutes of getting in tbe boat. Several hook throughout the day and ended up landing 4 steelhead and a very nice 7 pound brown. Highly recommend Al and will be using hom again next time fishing tbe Salmon River.

Capt Al is an excellent guide . We hooked yp 22 times and landed 17 steelhed from 14 to 24 inches. He knows the river and ware to find the fish. EXCELLENRTRIP !!!

Awesome day on the drift boat. Jason put us on fish consistently and helped my son and I hone our fishing technique. Highly recommended.

Al was extremely knowledgeable for the fish we were catching and although the water conditions were not great, He found fish, and we caught fish! My Dad and I had a great time! Al was professional, courteous, and it felt we knew him for years. We are scheduling another trip with Al right away!
