The Charter Boat Daybreak is the perfect choice for a family fishing adventure. The boat is meticulously maintained, and has plenty of room to fish for up to 6 passengers.
The Daybreak is a no-nonsense fishing machine that has been recently upgraded with new electronics and tackle.
What makes the Daybreak unique is the catamaran style hull. This hull design allows the boat to be quick and responsive in all sea conditions. It also makes for an incredibly stable fishing platform with less side to side motion than most v-hull vessels. This could benefit anyone prone to motion sickness. The full cabin is air-conditioned, has plenty of seating, several bunks, and a walk-in bathroom.
The boat has both a Federal Reef Fish Permit and a Federal Migratory/Pelagic permit, as well as a vessel fishing license that covers all passengers. It carries all required safety equipment, including an EPIRB, VMS, life raft, life jackets, flares, and a VHF radio. There is also xm satellite radio with speakers in the cabin and on the back deck as well as a microwave.
Captain AJ and first mate Carter will take care of anything you need to fish, and work hard to make sure you enjoy your trip.

I booked a (5) hour trip for six guys. We wanted to do a catch and cook after at a local restaurant by the marina. The Captain and crew led us out and handled all the necessary equipment ease. Tom, the crew member was great, patient, and kept us all fishing. We stopped at several locations and caught more than enough for lunch , with extra to bring home. The catch consisted of a grouper and snapper. The boat was clean, the cabin was cool and the crew was always pleasant. A couple passengers were susceptible to motion sickness, but the boat was great and the waters were calm when we went. As a group we highly recommend Daybreak Charters. Thank you for a great time.
Carter and the captain were awesome! I would highly recommend booking with them. We spent time catching our bait then went to fishing. We caught a ton of fish, lots were release for size but we caught more than we eat, there were six of us. After we took to local restaurant they recommended and it was so good. You will not be disappointed with this his crew.
These guys know where the fish are and can tell you what you will catch and how to catch them. we caught, Red and Vermillion Snapper, Red Snapper were not in season as well as the AmberJack we caught so they needed to go back. we also got into the Red Grouper and were allowed one per person. weather was great and AJ the Captain and Carter took great care of us. Looking forward to fishing with them again, for some bigger fish when in season. Thank you again guys.
absolutely best fishing trip by far! very enthusiastic and helpful crew. my three girls (5,11,13) had a blast and caught tons of fish. they went above and beyond for my disabled veteran father. no crazy superstitions and extremely kid friendly!! 5 stars, 10/10 WOULD RECCOMEND!!!
AJ and Carter did a fantastic job giving my family the best fishing experience ever. Carter spent the whole time making sure all of the lines were baited and ready to use very quickly. On the way out of the marina we had a pod of baby and adult dolphins chasing our boat which made our kids so happy. We caught a lot of fish and had an absolute blast! I definitely recommend the Daybreak for a fishing excursion.

Captain Stan started fishing the waters of Destin in the early 80's when he was a teenager and has held a USCG license since 1991. He earned his degree in Marine Biology from the University of South Alabama, then returned to Destin Harbor where he captained the party boat Emanuel for eight years. He owned and operated the charter boat Sea Winder from 1999 to 2013. Capt. Stan then purchased and refurbished the charter boat Destination which he currently operates. In the Fall of 2022, he purchased the charter boat Daybreak, operated by Capt. AJ Nieniec. Its was a perfect addition to the Destination.
