The Blue Runner II is a 42' ChrisCraft sport fisher, and as you can see from the photos, she's a beauty. She's powered by a pair of 485 HP Detroit Diesel engines and has plenty of room aboard for up to six prospective anglers. Inside you'll find a spacious and air-conditioned cabin where you can take a break and catch your breath whenever you want to.
The captains offer a variety of fishing packages to satisfy all your fishing needs and desires. Offshore trips are his specialty, and it's here that you can find a number of different species to hook up. If you're looking to put something in the freezer, you can bottom fish for Red and Vermilion Snapper, Triggerfish, and Gag Grouper. If you're more interested in proper sportfishing, you can go after Sailfish, Kingfish, Amberjack, and many more.
Any given trip will include rods, reels, and terminal tackle in the price, along with the required fishing licenses. 20% gratuity for the first mate is very much appreciated, and he will clean and fillet the catch after the trip for your convenience. Pack some drinks or snacks, bring a pair of polarized sunglasses, and you're ready to make your fishing dreams come true.

We just finished another fantastic six-hour fishing trip with Blue Runner #2 out of Destin, and it was another winner! This is our repeat charter because they consistently deliver an amazing experience for our family of six. The crew is outstanding — professional, patient, and genuinely nice people who make everyone feel welcome and cared for. They have that perfect mix of expertise and warmth that keeps the day fun and relaxed. The kids loved the hands-on help with rigging and landing fish, while the adults appreciated the skilled guidance and great banter. Safety was always top priority, and they went out of their way to make sure everyone had a blast. We caught a ton of fish again — non-stop action and solid limits that made the cooler heavy on the way back to the dock. The captain put us on the fish every time, and the crew’s knowledge of the Destin waters is second to none. If you’re looking for a reliable, family-friendly six-hour (or longer) deep-sea fishing adventure out of Destin, book Blue Runner #2 without hesitation. honestly i picked the boat for the cabin, knowing it was going to be a chilly day and we would want to be inside for the trip out and back. it was comfortable with a couch and chairs, and clean. Captain Tommy found the fish despite the sea temps, and first mate Jason was friendly, and mire importantly, kept our bait on and lines in. we caught a bountiful dinner plus a lot we had to release due to february restrictions, but what a great sunny afternoon on a calm sea. a dolphin joined us on the way out for an added bonus. dress for the day and no reason not to enjoy winter fishing.

I had a great trip with my three sons. Captain Tommy knows how to find the fish. And his mate Oz knows how to catch them. They are extremely kind and accomodating and we were on fish all day. Cant recommend them enough, great trip with great people.
Captain Tommy and Don were great. Our oldest son didn’t farewell and got sick, but tgey were supportive and accommodating, put us on fish and he rallied… until the trip back in. regardless we would book with them again! great time and great people. Tommy even called two days agead and suggested moving our trip up due to tge weather, and he was right. Again, good and thoughtful people!
