We booked a 6 hour fishing trip. And we couldn’t be happier with how it all went. We caught 8+ bonitos, and 2 beautiful sail fish. The crew worked extremely hard, and just gave us the best time. We took some sail fish back and had a chef cook it up for us and it was incredibly delicious. A HUUGE thank you to captain Hugo and his first mate for such an incredible experience on the jazmine. We can’t wait to rebook again next time we visit.

    We were not familiar with sea fishing very much, but captain Hugo kindly taught us every thing.Additionally,since we would like to do both bait fishing and trolling, he arranged those very well even though we had booked only for 4hours.     January 8th, water's is cold, so we, only came back with one Sailfish about 25 to 28 kilos. Would have let it go, but cut the gills on the left side, and was bleeding badly.

    The morning was full of action. 3 bonita and one Dorado. We had two marlin on but lost them both. Played the first on for 5-10 minutes and the second one took out so much line it burnt the deckhands thumb. The line either broke or got spooled. The pole was anove so i never got to touch the pole. Afternoon was slow. Couple hits and landed nice size bonita. However ,The Captain I Contracted online was not present. Two younger locals. They were eager and worked the gear hard. Tied the live bait on real good but their experience on this actual boat was lacking was my impression. Especially when they docked at end of day. All in all, a good day was had. Next time I’ll probably charted for five hours instead of 8. The last three hours were pretty slow.
