Piedmont Angling
Based out of Comer, Piedmont Angling invites you to go fishing in one of many rivers in the Georgia area. Are you ready to connect with nature and enjoy a day in the great outdoors?
Come on aboard with Capt. Buck, who will go the extra mile to provide the best experience possible. He specializes in fly fishing and trolling, and enjoys using light tackle to get those bites. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 or 6-hour trips, where you'll be fishing for the likes of Bass, and Crappie, depending on the specific season and the day's weather.
The river you'll fish will depend on the species you're targeting, so let the captain know what you want, and he'll customize the perfect trip for you.
For anglers that wish to do fly fishing, please be prepared. The captain recommends that you know how to cast before coming. Throwing heavily weighted flies can be challenging for those who've never cast before.
Your adventure begins on board a 16' Grizzly boat that can fit a maximum of 2 anglers. This river fishing machine is a custom jetboat designed to run in rocky shallow rivers, and it's fitted with a wireless trolling motor. You'll fish from the boat or wade fish depending on the river conditions. When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time.
Smallmouth Bass and Shoal Bass are strictly catch and release, so expect to return these species back to the water. You may keep other species that you catch according to limits and regulations. You'll find free drinks on the boat for your convenience, but you're always welcome to pack drinks and snacks if you want to.
