Capt. Joe aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what your concerns are. We leave the serious fishing to the other captains; we go out to have fun. Depending on the trip and species, you'll be using techniques like bottom fishing (cut bait), drift fishing, popping, and spinning. You're looking at 4 ,5 or 6 hr trip, where you'll usually go after the likes of Redfish, Cobia, Grouper, Jack Crevalle, Shark, and Tripletail, depending on the weather and time of year.
Your adventure begins on board a 23' Parker boat that can fit a maximum of 6 anglers.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. The captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip. You'll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip.

Captain Joe was easy to communicate with was flexible. Captain Joe arranged a trip for my family and showed us a great time although the fish were not biting a lot. We did catch them my teenage children and my wife all had a great time. It helped that the day was beautiful, but I think that even if it wasn’t, we would’ve had a great time I would recommend barefoot charters and captain Joe to anyone who asked thanks Captain Joe.

Joe had us on fish at our first stop - no electonics, all as a matter of his decades of knowledge and experiece. The weather was iffy, and here again Joe's knowledge and experience proved to be right on point. Joe is also an interesting guy, and we'll be booking with him again.

There is shelling, wildlife, oyster bars, sand bars, and grass flats. There is lots of wildlife such as dolphins, manatees, birds, otters and so much more. There are places to swim and cool off as well as some really good fishing spots. Some like to fish, and some like to shell. I say why not do both? I have spots where some can shell on a secluded beach while others can fish close by. Our saying has always been 'We leave the serious fishing to the other captains, we go out to have fun!'

How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 1 day before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.
How you can pay
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
