The sun is brutally hot here in the desert southwest in summer time. PLEASE consider booking a night trip to avoid getting cooked like a lobster. We can catch a ton of fish, pretty much have the lake to ourselves and we won't get sunburnt! It is quite safe cause the lake has lighted navigational buoys all around AND I've been night fishing this lake for years.

Capt. Ray aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what you're after! Depending on the trip and species, you'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, and spinning. At Willow beach you're looking at 6-hour night trips, where you'll go after the likes of trophy sized striped Bass. The state record 67+ lb striper was caught here. This trip is only offered at night. It begins about an hour before sunset.
You'll be fishing from a 19' Tracker boat with enough room for up to 4 anglers. It also includes a wireless trolling motor.
When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time.
Depending on the species caught and their size, the catch you keep will be shared with the crew following the trip. Please get in touch with the captain if you have any questions.
You'll find free snacks, and drinks on the boat for your convenience, but you're always welcome to pack your own drinks and snacks should you want to.

Had a Awesome time on Colorado River,with Captain Ray,Beautiful scenery up and down river.Weather conditions were perfect,Captain Ray got us on Stripe Bass,he was personable and knowledgeable about the area,can't wait for next time in town,will definitely be reaching out to Captain Ray for another great time on the water,thanks again,Tom and Holly from Corpus Christi tx

Ray was definitely a wonderful person and had a very comfortable boat. We were able to see amazing areas in the Colorado River. Will definitely keep in touch with Ray. Not everybody was able to catch fish as well. Some luck for some, for Roger, Ray and I, didn't catch any luck. It is what it is. Maybe next time 🤞✌️

I highly recommend Captain Ray. My experience was phenomenal. My 2 sons will never forget the moments shared on the waters. It was a beautiful day, got a couple of bites but couldn’t land any. Captain was great to talk to and very knowledgeable. If you’ve never been to Willow beach it’s worth the scenery alone.
Tough day of fishing at Willow beach ended with a big skunk. Jared and Porter were good sports and still enjoyed their time on the water. I enjoyed the conversation and my time with two experienced fishermen. Thank you guys!
