Sunshine Charters of Charleston 

This was our first trip to Charleston, SC we wanted to try a fishing trip in our short visit. We weren’t sure what to expect as it was February and the temperatures were colder then usual. Captain Steve was great! Very informative about the area and the fishing. We tried several spots but due to the weather and conditions we were not successful on carching. The views and ride in the boat were wonderful. we got to see dolphins, pelcans, bald eagl and other birds. When we come to SC afain we will for sure book with Sunshine Chartes. Thank you for the adveture!!

Had a group of 10 guys and the captain was able to take all of us on two boats. Caught some fish and had a great time. Captin was very professional and helpful with anything we needed. Will definitely be booking with him again.

Me and my groomsmen booked this charter for my bachelorette trip trusting the previous reviews, and they were all spot on. Stephen knows his stuff. He taught the novice fishermen how to fish and everyone caught on really quick. It took a while for the fish to start biting, but when they did, they were putting up a fight. I strongly recommend booking Stephen from Sunshine Charters of Charleston!

we had a good day trying to catch fish, but the fish didn’t cooperate! the water in the harbor was too rough, so Captain Stephen took us on the creeks and rivers to try to entice the fish. He tried multiple stops and even helped us try longer than our trip time because he REALLY wanted us to be successful! We appreciate his efforts and friendliness!

Can’t say enough about this trip. Captain Steve was on it. He asked what we wanted to catch and boy did he deliver. A sand shark, lemon sharks, a hammerhead shark, and a bull shark among the bunch. Everyone caught something. Steve was extremely helpful and made it a perfect day for us. Great 4-hour trip. Great capitan. Great boat. Five-star all the way. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Our fishing experience with Captain Stephen was exceptional. It was a gorgeous day on a beautiful, well-kept boat, and Stephen was attentive, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. He constantly adjusted our location to make sure we were right where the fish were biting. We caught red fish, spotten sea trout, mini black drum and several croaker! We couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water…. we got a bonus seeing baby dolphins jumping! Highly recommend!

Captain Steve is the freakin man! Went out for a half day with my wife and two daughters. Core memories were made for my girls. We had the best time. Steve was so much fun, professional and knowledgeable. Our only regret is that we didn’t book a full day. Will be coming back next year to do it again. Wish I could give 10 stars.

Flew in from Nebraska and wanted a memory, experience and education. Exactly what I got with the fools I was with! Captain Steve has a great personality, put you on the fish, is super flexible for whether you need and all in for our shenanigans. Thanks and will see you again for sure.

Our family of 6 all went on this guide, and we had a good time. It was a little slow, but 3 of us caught a shark. Our captain did what he could to put us on fish. He was fun and played good music while on the water. I can't say enough good things about him.

Captain Steve was amazing. We’re new to the area and needed to learn more about fishing the rivers around Charleston. Captain Steve not only took us to some great spots where we caught very large redfish (25 to 32 inches), but was also very generous with sharing information to help us get acclimated to Charleston boating. we would highly recommend going out with him. If you’re thinking about it, don’t hesitate.
