Sunshine Charters of Charleston runs angling trips out of Charleston South Carolina and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.
Capt. Stephen will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in bottom fishing, all to get you on that bite. This involves 4-hour trips, mainly fishing for Seabass, Redfish, Sheepshead, Flounder, Black Drum, Sharks, Bull Reds and Spotted Seatrout, depending on the season and conditions on the day.
Your adventure begins on board a 2025 25' Sportsman boat that can fit a maximum of 6 anglers. The boat is fitted with an ice box, and a wireless trolling motor and pin anchor.
The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you'll need for a productive day on the water. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day and you're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.
There will be complimentary water aboard for your convenience during the trip, but feel free to bring your own drinks or snacks if you prefer.
This is a children-friendly charter, so you're welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

This was our first trip to Charleston, SC we wanted to try a fishing trip in our short visit. We weren’t sure what to expect as it was February and the temperatures were colder then usual. Captain Steve was great! Very informative about the area and the fishing. We tried several spots but due to the weather and conditions we were not successful on carching. The views and ride in the boat were wonderful. we got to see dolphins, pelcans, bald eagl and other birds. When we come to SC afain we will for sure book with Sunshine Chartes. Thank you for the adveture!!

Had a great time on Sunshine Charters. This was my first time fishing with a few friends of varying experience levels. Capt Stephen was knowledgable and patient teaching the more novice fishermen, he also explained why we fished where/how we were. He was personable and gave us a great day of fishing. Boat was clean and bait was ready to go when we got there, we got a few fish and one giant! Captain Stephen is awesome, this will be the only fishing charter I use in Charleston going forward! Could not recommend him enough.

we had a good day trying to catch fish, but the fish didn’t cooperate! the water in the harbor was too rough, so Captain Stephen took us on the creeks and rivers to try to entice the fish. He tried multiple stops and even helped us try longer than our trip time because he REALLY wanted us to be successful! We appreciate his efforts and friendliness!

We (5, including 2 young boys) had a great time with Captain Stephen during afternoon 4 hour outing. He was very engaged and related well with the boys. Caught 3 nice keepers (2 reds and a black), two of which were pulled in by the boys, and a couple of rays. Some tolerable rain at the start, and a beautiful day thereafter. Captain Stephen has a new, wonderful boat, good equipment, plenty of bait, and is very knowledgeable about the area and fishing spots. Highly recommended!

Our family of 6 all went on this guide, and we had a good time. It was a little slow, but 3 of us caught a shark. Our captain did what he could to put us on fish. He was fun and played good music while on the water. I can't say enough good things about him.
Brett , you guys rocked and want to thank you also for a Great trip !! you guys were there for us with my damaged wing lol I believe you and your group contributed quite to this trip and am so grateful for sharing and leaving this review! i hope to see you and your family again ! tight lines 💯💪🎣
