Reel Salty Sportfishing 

My father, brother and I come to fish Florida every year. We try to target different species and techniques. One of our goals this year was to get a snook and redfish in the boat. Took us down to the wire to get them both but 2 of us caught a redfish and we got our snook. Captain Nick knows his stuff and appreciated how we was not locked in trying one thing. we moved around and found the fish when the bites started to slow. even caught a healthy dinner of some mangrove snapper. Will be back again

We had a blast with Captain Nick! Solid guide, knew right where to take us for immediate action. Was very helpful with my 2 younger boys but still coached them up and let them do a lot themselves. This was our first time taking a charter in Indian Shoes and we’ll make sure we go with Nick next time we’re down. We caught plenty of reds and landed a massive Snook that my older son will never forget.

My husband and boys enjoyed their trip with Captain Nick. My boys are 10 and 11 and very much into fishing. Captain Nick was kind to answer their many many questions throughout the trip. They did not have the luck that they had hoped with catches but the baby shark was a dream come true for my one son and we got two lunches out of my other son’s catch! it was also a beautiful day out on the water. We would book again for sure.

We went out for a morning half day charter on May 22,2026 with Capt Nick. Nick is experienced, great personality and works very hard to put you on the fish 🎣Nick moved us around trying to get the best spots. I wont tell were 👀 I landed these 3 monster snooks at. lips are sealed. I highly recommend Nick and Salty Charters services. You’ll have a great time.

It was a slow day, the captain had us on the fish but they just wasnt hitting. It happens sometimes the difference is when you got a good captain that doesn't just throw the towel in and keeps hitting different areas to get fish on. We book charters multiple times a year and solw days are just part of it. The captain did everything right and I would recommend him 100%.

Captain Nick was great! He took us to many spots and was very informative and communicated everything about each location we were fishing. We seen dolphins and manatees swimming throughout the day. It was quite windy but we caught a few and a SHARK! Which was Awesome! We were happy with that and to have the experience and learn different things about the area! Captain Nick was a great fisherman and guide. We went on the inshore trip and caught a ton of redfish at each stop. We also found a snook and nice trout. He’s a professional and a great guy all around. We really had a great time fishing on his boat and will go back out to try his nearshore charter.

Captain Nick was INCREDIBLY accommodating, patient and kind! Our trip was a "bucket list" trip with our elderly dad. Nick was thoughtful and kind. He worked so hard to find the fish for us. I will ABSOLUTELY book with him again for a trip for my husband and myself when we are done caring for dad!

Weather and fish were not cooperative the day and I went out, but Captain Nick did everything he could to get us on the fish. For my friend this was her first time fishing and he help her fish and she had a good time. I got a Spanish mackerel which was a great. I would definitely charter with him agian.
