My 2 kids (9 and 12) and I had a phenomenal time out on the water with Captain Jake. We did the 4 hour in-shore fishing trip on a chilly day and it was still the experience of a lifetime! Not only did he get us on fish, he is an area native and therefore knowledgeable about all of the surrounding physical and political geography of the area. Not only did we catch a bunch of fish, we learned a lot, too! Last, and so importantly, he was AMAZING with my two kids! He is so kind and patient, and was EXACTLY the person I needed to help my children to develop their love for fishing! I would highly recommend Captain Jake to ANYONE!!! 10/10!

Great 1/2 day on the water with Jake! We booked a half day with Jake during December when fishing is supposedly slow. We spent the trip going to multiple spots consistently catching small croaker and other fish; however, for most of the trip we caught fish sporadically but nothing impressive. Jake was entertaining, great to talk to, and extremely knowledgeable about the area and marine life. He took us to different spots that he knew would have different fish. Towards the end of our trip he took us to a dock that he hoped would get us our big fish and my son caught a 26 1/4 inch redfish! We had a great time.

We traveled from Texas to get on some snook. Captain Jake is a very knowledgable local guide. Great demeanor and customer service. Had a variety of live bait to target multiple species in the livewell when he arrived to pick us up at the dock. Conditions were nowhere near ideal, with tough winds, high pressure and wind churned water in places but he worked hard at multiple spots to get my oldest son on a snook. Other species were caught as well by all of us. His boat also has a sight tower to help locate fish and is able to provide good direction to cast for more experienced anglers like my boys. It was a great day on the water and will call him again when we come back!

It was the BEST. Jake is WONDERFUL. Patient, kind, respectful and at peace. Every moment was fun. Especially, when we caught a small shark. Even the times we weren't fishing. While he was taking us to another place to fish; he was playing music and allowed us to choose some songs to play. Drove pacifically. He let us be ourselves. At the dock, he went to get his truck to secure his boat on truck. While he did that, we had some fun with Florida birds. He allowed us to feed the birds with the bait we used to fish. The fish we caught. He cleaned them up and we were able to keep them. One of the BEST moments of my life!!! Blessings Jake! Thank you for everything!!

Captain Jack Nichols is the real deal—part fishing guide, part local legend, and possibly part fish himself. From the second we stepped on the boat, he had us laughing, learning, and reeling ‘em in like pros (well… semi-pros). Thanks to his patience and Jedi-level persistence, we landed snook, red drum, trout, and mangrove snapper like it was our job. Communication? Spot on. Captain Jack kept us in the loop, gave clear instructions, and made sure everyone felt confident (even when we tangled lines or missed a hookset). On top of that, he gave us excellent recommendations for local restaurants and businesses—seriously, this guy should run for mayor.
