Me and my son did the 4hr trip and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made. Captain Jake was so helpful, and knowledgeable. He was having as much fun as we were. He made us feel so comfortable on that boat. Knowing we weren’t pros, it didn’t matter. He gave us pointers all day long. We caught a ton of fish. It was honestly just a great day. If you are looking to fish with literally not having to worry about anything, Captain Jake is a great choice.

My 2 kids (9 and 12) and I had a phenomenal time out on the water with Captain Jake. We did the 4 hour in-shore fishing trip on a chilly day and it was still the experience of a lifetime! Not only did he get us on fish, he is an area native and therefore knowledgeable about all of the surrounding physical and political geography of the area. Not only did we catch a bunch of fish, we learned a lot, too! Last, and so importantly, he was AMAZING with my two kids! He is so kind and patient, and was EXACTLY the person I needed to help my children to develop their love for fishing! I would highly recommend Captain Jake to ANYONE!!! 10/10!

Great 1/2 day on the water with Jake! We booked a half day with Jake during December when fishing is supposedly slow. We spent the trip going to multiple spots consistently catching small croaker and other fish; however, for most of the trip we caught fish sporadically but nothing impressive. Jake was entertaining, great to talk to, and extremely knowledgeable about the area and marine life. He took us to different spots that he knew would have different fish. Towards the end of our trip he took us to a dock that he hoped would get us our big fish and my son caught a 26 1/4 inch redfish! We had a great time.

We traveled from Texas to get on some snook. Captain Jake is a very knowledgable local guide. Great demeanor and customer service. Had a variety of live bait to target multiple species in the livewell when he arrived to pick us up at the dock. Conditions were nowhere near ideal, with tough winds, high pressure and wind churned water in places but he worked hard at multiple spots to get my oldest son on a snook. Other species were caught as well by all of us. His boat also has a sight tower to help locate fish and is able to provide good direction to cast for more experienced anglers like my boys. It was a great day on the water and will call him again when we come back!

Captain Jake is a fantastic guide. We were catching fish just a few minutes from the dock. I took my 12 and 7 yr old boys and they loved it. My 7 yr old had never caught a fish before. Captain Jake had him all set up and casting on his own. He even landed some speckled trout, jacks, and a snook, but the highlight of the day was my 12 yr old reeling in a 26” redfish that captain Jake filleted for us. It was nonstop fishing at multiple locations. Captain Jake kept the lines baited and was very patient and fun with the kids. We would definetly book again.
