The captain prides himself on making sure you’re safe and having fun. His vessel is a spacious and comfortable restored 24’ Proline flatback center console made in 1974 It fits up to 4 guests, runs on a 200 HP Suzuki four stroke engine, and uses all the modern navigation electronics. It features a wireless trolling motor, 2 coolers for fish and drinks, and a huge livewell.

The boat can get into less than a foot of water to chase that Red and Snook, as well as head out a couple of miles off the beach for Tarpon, Kingfish, and shallow water reefs. Hop aboard this old-school of a vessel and go get some fish!

You’ll be trolling and spinning for many different prized species on your trip. Apart from those already mentioned, there’s also Mangrove Snapper, Tripletail, Hammerhead Shark, and many more. You may keep fish that is in size and season or you may toss it back to the water. It’s up to you. The only things you’ll need for the trip are snacks and drinks.

Most of Captain Joe’s clients are repeats and that explains itself. Though he works hard to get you the fish, sometimes it just doesn’t bite and that’s why they call it fishing. Excellent Charter Fishing with Joe

we had an amazing fishing trip today with Joe! From start to finish, it was a great expereince. Joe was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone was comfortable and having fun the entire time. He knew exactly where to go and was incredibly patient and helpful, whether you’re experienced or brand new to fishing. The trip was well organized, relaxed, and overall just a really fun day on the water. Highly fecommend booking with Joe if you’re looking for a great fishing charger in St. Pete!

It was an unseasonably cold day in St. Pete, not exactly the best weather for fishing. In spite of that, Joe was courteous, knowledgeable and a great teacher. He patiently explained and showed us newbies the basics of fishing, while providing excellent tips for the more experienced members of our group. As a result, everyone caught a fish or two, even three! It was a great experience and we hope to come back agan.

Awesome Day with Masi Boy’s Fishing

Had a wonderful experience with Joe Masi from Masi Boy’s Fishing today with my sons. We are avid fishers from Long Island and going forward we will be spending plenty of time fishing in the St. Pete’s area with Joe. Fish were plentiful and a wide range of species in only a 3 hour trip. Captain Joe was both very knowledgeable and helpful to my young sons in teaching them the waters and how to fish. See you again in a few months! Thank you Captain for the trip!

Another fun excursion with Capt Joe

4 Hour inshore Trip on March 18, 2025 • 2 adults

This was my second trip with Joe, we went out last year for the 4hr trip and brought back a dozen keeper grunt fillets to cook up. This year we were coming off a couple days of rainy, windy weather and the gulf was rough so we stayed on the intracostal areas but the water was still murky. Had a fair amount of bites, boated some trout that were just undersized so had to throw back but still fun to catch. Plus a couple hammerhead sharks about 18-20 inches that fought pretty good. Joe is very active on the boat, organized and worked hard for us, changing spots several times. Unfortunately no keepers this time, but that's why it's "fishing" and not "catching"!

Slaying hogs with Captain Joe!

4 Hour Trip nearshore (am) on March 4, 2025 • 4 adults

Captain Joe was the best! He was down to earth and friendly as can be. He knew the best spots to look for fish and knew when it was time to move to a new spot. He insisted on baiting all our hooks and removing any seaweed snagged to take good care of us. He also offered ice waters and sunblock and took us for a bathroom break that was right by the spot we were at because he knew the area well and where accessible bathrooms were. We all caught plenty of fish and each even caught sharks! We most definitely will be back and will book with Joe again. THANKS Captain Joe for taking good care of us!
